I find this unattractive and I have doubta about your metal health that you do find this attractive.

Sure, femShep is totally hot in that piece of fan art, but Garrus?

I went for Thane because I did find him attractive and I just like who he is. To me his romance was very deep and meaningful. Plus he does express his love for you in a letter.

This reminds me of one comic of Sluggy freelance, where the Slime Queen can be indetified among the colony of slimes---by having a totaly human body with a slime head.

You think being attracted to walking lizards is normal.

And then say my comments are akin to saying homosexuality is a sin.

Right.

I woke up today in a good mood, ready for a proper discussion, but no, to hell with you.

Aw, someone's just grumpy 'cause he just realized how inane his post was. Its okay; we won't discriminate.

And that Thane pic is probably some of the best photoshopping I've seen.

And to people saying that we'd be scared of aliens, or that we wouldn't find them attractive in reality; it obviously depends; are they as human feeling as the ones in Mass Effect? Or are they like predators or something? There are a lot of possibilities in this galaxy, in the universe; who's to say humans haven't evolved the same way we have, but billions of lightyears away? Things are always deemed impossible until someone, or something proves it wrong.

The female aliens (the Asari, you never see a Quarian) are sexualized to appeal to every species. There's a bacheler party with a Turian, Solarian, and a Human on Illium that has an Asari dancing for them and each of them describes her differently. Asari appear different to each race. Also, men are attracted to mostly physical qualities 1st and foremost.

Women tend to look more for strength of character and, honestly, the ideal man is tough and rugged. I'd say the aliens in this franchise fill their roles quite well. Garrus and Thane are major badassess with awesome voices but a twinge of sorrow hidden just under their personalities.

The females are physically appealing and emotionally vulnerable, making the man feel needed. BOOM! Right there.

Also, I find nothing wrong with the picture of Garrus and FemShep. 2 consenting adults finding comfort in each other's embrace. Quite romantic if you ask me, which the OP did.

I don't think so; I honestly think that was Bioware being silly, and showcasing how, despite our physical differences, aliens are very similar to humans mentally; in other words; we all want to shack up with the hot chick on the table, and will say anything to disuade are friends from trying. The turian only says something about head-fringe, because both asari and them have it, and the human says how similar asari are to them; both statements are true, so there's no actual evidence that asari actually look different to other species.

The salarian was just drunk, and wanted her all to himself, I think.;)

I think Thane is rather cute for an alien. When he's not doing the crazy-eyed flashback thing, anyway. Not so keen on his voice though. I want to forcefeed him some cough medicine. And we don't know what male quarians look like (they may not be romances but they're still male aliens). I'm pretty sure that if female quarians will be attractive, then they must be too.

There's little doubt that Tali will be attractive; considering she's a love interest, and female, which is all the reason Bioware needs to make her beautiful. And because they're fans of making all aliens of the same race look alike, it stands to reason that all female quarians will be attractive, and I can't imagine Bioware would shaft the males, so its fairly logical to assume they'll be just as sexy as the others will be.

Which is totally fine by me.B)

Besides, what's a sci-fi space opera without some experimentation with the alien folk. Good or bad experimentation, cause sometimes probing isn't cool.

Also its practical. If there's one thing history has taugh us, its that once societies meet, they tend to have sex and reproduce with each other.

Or more commonly they exterminate the other
(preferably the less advanced one).

Even when once society goes to destroy another, they never truly eliminate them. They usually take the people that survive and integrate them, after the mass amounts of death raping and pilaging. In more recent times, people from both socities just mingle together and when people do that, well they just F**K!:D

I think that would be the silver lining of any genocide if there were one.

Siha,

I write this with a heavy hand, knowing you will read this letter when I am no longer able to share my thoughts. I am dying, Siha. Perhaps because of the differences between our species, I can hope that time will treat you with kindness and dim the hurt of my passing to faded recollections that a drell would forever remember with perfect clarity.

Selfishly, however, I could not leave this world without leaving a piece of me behind that would never fade.

I once accepted my fate. Nothing remained but a shell destined to die. I only had to choose the when and how of my passing. I had refused to be confined to a bed, gasping horribly as my life beeped away to machinery I had no use for. I thought of my Irikah, broken, bloodied, and betrayed by my absence. Of Kolyat, small and afraid, bravely pushing at his eyes to stem the flow of tears I had entrusted to him to cry... for both our sakes.

The expectation to move swiftly to my end vanished upon uniting with your cause. You awoke me, Shepard. My heart quickened its sluggish beat if only to remain at your side and protect you with everything that I am. I was content to simply watch, take the time left given and praise all I know for allowing me to walk my final days with hope and certainty that I am worthy of more than my cold isolation, solely because you believed.

I love you. If all else whispers back into the tide, know this for fact. By grace given me by the Goddess Arashu, I bid her divine protection to you, my warrior-angel, my Siha, to succeed in your destiny. To light your path through the coming darkness. To give you hope, when all seems lost.

I will await you across the sea.

Thane
