My chancellor (most powerful political person) in my country is a woman. And we are talking about fiction that is supposed to happen more than 100 years in the future. So ... blah.
Aaand thats one woman. Aaaand history doesn't know many example like this. Aaaand i know female presidents,politicians who are - powerful. But hey - the countries are in a nasty situation (tanks to them)

Fact is, alot of idiots have lead countries before, even though they were male. So what really speaks against women getting a shot. Can't be worse. Also one of the most famous female rulers is Elizabeth I. She was everything but an incompetent ruler. And my country is germany and she's better then most men in the job before her. My opinion of politicians in general isn't very high though. But whatever. It happens already and if Bioware is getting any less progressive then real life will not only catch up to them but also outrace them. Then they will hardly be considered progressive in any meaning of the word. Also you could almost have had a female president already or not? And could she have been worse than Mr. Bush? (assuming you are from the usa ofc)

Austrailian PM is female however she stabbed the guy I voted for in the back to be PM, to be fair she's just as bad as the males that came before here.... Carbon tax didn't scientists already disprove manmade global warming and that its due to increase sun spot activity? Ah yes, here it is so, people in positions of power are scewing the people? nothings changed.
