This is so awesome.
If Shepard and Liara have a kid, which will of course be a lil blue/purple/teal asari, I think it would make for an awesome post-trilogy sequel. Humans suck so of course that means Shepard wouldn't live to see her grow very old by asari standards. But after Shepard is gone, I can totally imagine her asari daughter going on wicked adventures and generally being extremely awesome at living up to Shepard's legacy, fighting for both human and asari kind. It would be WICKED.

While I agree with you, not going to happen. You would be safer disscussing such a topic in the Liara thread..

From being brought back to life with upgrades, I think Shepard would live longer than a normal Human. I dunno about going on adventures though.

That, or Shepard's cybernetics begin to fail miserably in another 20 years, and s/he dies a slow and agonising death of poison and hardware failure.

Of course that would only work for the people who romanced Liara.

Also, no. That's a horrible idea. Kill it with fire.
The only reason children should ever be involved in Mass Effect (other than swift, obvious deaths for cheap emotional manipulation) is if a dimensional wormhole opens up. Shepard meets Shepard. Shepard screws Shepard.
Nine months later, the most badass being in the universe is born.

I want this to happen, I could definitly see liara and shepard having a kid and the kid has adventures living up to her father shepard.

Actually, why should only Liara get kids with Shepard? Can see it for Jack & Ashley too - same for Kaidan & Jacob and (if heterosexual relationship) Vega too. Miranda - maybe.
Besides that, I'm not too much fan of the trope "offspring continues adventures of parent".

NO KIDS. Shepard's whereabouts should be unknown to the rest of the galaxy when all is said and done, so he can be the new Revan.

And later bring him back as a boss fight with meaningless loot when you defeat him/her.
That certainly sounds epic.

I'm not a pro Star wars fans, but I like the movies, but who's that Revan, I've seen this name being mentioned here before.

Short version: Main protagonist in KOTOR and the most powerful force user ever (after rebirth).
For long version: Play KOTOR, KOTOR 2, read the book 'Revan' and play Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Oh to answer the topic: Love everything Liara related but I'd prefer to keep kids out of the game altogether.

Ehh... can Shep and Liara have childs?
Asaris are supposed to become matrons at the 350 (Shepard would be dead way before Liara can become a matron), but the matron age could be triggered earlier, but I don't know if it can 100 year earlier.

Asari are capable of childbirth once they reach adulthood (read: the maiden stage). Most simply don't because they are too busy getting themselves killed off by Shepard, or are off "shaking their arses on a stage."
