 This is so awesome.

If Shepard and Liara have a kid, which will of course be a lil blue/purple/teal asari, I think it would make for an awesome post-trilogy sequel. Humans suck so of course that means Shepard wouldn't live to see her grow very old by asari standards. But after Shepard is gone, I can totally imagine her asari daughter going on wicked adventures and generally being extremely awesome at living up to Shepard's legacy, fighting for both human and asari kind. It would be WICKED.

My femshep would rather have a white kid with TIM.

I detecting a bit of hate from your comment? But this might just be my imagination.

Also to other people wondering, I think Liara getting pregnant could work, but would probably be like a girl in her teens getting pregnant.

A series about the adventures of Shepard's child with Liara (or Shep's child with anyone) sounds like bad fan fiction. Really, really bad fan fiction. It's like "Let's make a movie about Darth Vader as a little kid, building C3PO and pod racing!" bad.

^ This.... this is always what drove me a little nuts when reading fantasy novels like the DragonLance and Shannara series, the kids of the first heroes always go on new adventures after their parents previously saved the world, then the kids of the kids of the first heroes go on new adventures, rinse and repeat.... :pinched:

I agree; any future lead should be completely unrelated to Shepard & his crew.

Yes and no, BlueMagitek. I'm fine with the idea Shepard & his/her relatives don't play a major role in the universe anymore. Then I'd like to know what happened to them. So I kinda hope for a Shepard and/or one of his/her squadmates / LI still playing a tiny role, a cameo so to speak.

Liara giving the new hero quests - anyone? ^^

Obsidian handled it very well in New Vegas; The Chosen One could be anyone and have done anything (especially in a game like Fallout 2), as such, you left hints lying around left and right while making a few aspects canon (Marcus, for example). I'd imagine Bioware might do something similar if they reference Shepard at all; any personal information would likely be in the epilogue of ME3.

The Arishok had a pretty good "No."

Who has the baby in a Female/Asari romance, the Asari?

Since asari don't have penii (unless they sprout some when needed, lawd forbid), and since human-asari DNA isn't compatible, yes.

Yeah, and they canonized a man who was supposed to be a good humble tribal hero having a nauseating one nighter with some immensely disgusting vile slag druggie whoar from New Reno and knocking her up. Seriously, the hell? She's a prostitute, she's had more poles crammed into her gully hole than a volleyball court,  why should the PC of all people be the one to nut his testicle worms inside her rotten PMS bag? Also, mentally insane drug whoars don't have healthy children that survive past birth. And why would a family of insane drug criminals even want to raise some random brat?  Ewwwwww. No thanks.

I. HATE. FALLOUT.

I did love to see something like that in the future, especially playing ASARI. I Love ASARI!!!!

I don't think it will happen though. :( It be wonderful though. I could always play Shepard, Liara daughter in Multiplayer/Co-Op.

I was a huge fan of the Xanth novels growing up. it could be interesting if Bioware wanted to handle the story that way. if there is one thing they are good at its telling a good story with a nice dose of romance that always keeps me coming back and even the games that suck (DA2) they still know how to tell a story.

+2

The Shepard bloodline should only span the main trilogy, after that a new character that isn't a Shepard should start a new adventure, playing another Shepard will start to were thin

One:  It can be with the daughter *or* the mother.

Two:  The daughter was with a lot of tribals if you take the time to listen to dialog.

Three:  It's a nice little throwback to that New Reno ending, but it doesn't make it canon.  Look at Marcus; his dialog tiptoes around the Chosen One, no gender specific nouns, no hints at what happened.  The only thing they made canon about it was that Marcus did not die and was in the party at the Oil Rig.

Four:  That's *your* interpretation of the Chosen One; you can basically make him any personality you'd like.

The kid could grow up hating living in the shadows of such illustrious parents and turn so evil it would make TIM look like a Girl Scout. That would be cool.Who would hunt her down?

But Xanth was very tongue-in-cheek. ME, conversely, is fairly serious excepting the to2lly r4dical bent it took in ME2.

Also, +100 for being a Xanth fan.

Precisely how does a video game affect your perception of a sexual orientation?

This is an awsome idea.

The problem is if they did that..the kid would always be Asari, and HEAVEN FORBID a FEMALE! *le-gasp* the markating people would have a heartattack, at the suggestion of it.

The worst part would be spending the first few hundred years of your life as a stripper in some seedy club. ~_~
