what shotgun is best for jacob and jack the geth plasma shotgun or the cerberus one?

That sounds about right. Shotguns on the squad aren't all that useful due to the limited range... which makes the Geth Fake Shotgun the best choice.

I use the Evi as I don't have the GPS. Only Jacob and Grunt are allowed to use shotguns though, Jack and Tali have to stick to their hand cannons.
