Disclaimer: I do NOT know any spoilers about Mass Effect 3. These are just predictions and should be thought of in that way. This also concerns some spoilers from the first two games so if you have not played them, please DO NOT continue past this point.

Note: There are multiple outcomes which mean different characters could experience different outcomes.

IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE DISCLAIMER, PLEASE DO SO.

So what do we know about ME3 at this point?
-Bioware has said that some characters will die regardless of what you do.
-There cannot be both Kaiden and Ashley because of the Virmire: Assault mission.
-If Tali and/or Garrus were killed in the suicide mission, they WILL remain dead.
-Liara, Vega and the Virmire Survivor definitely be there.
-Legion doesn't have to be activated which means that it's possible that the Quarian-Geth conflict cannot be resolved at all in some situations.
-Anderson stays on Earth.

As to who will definitely die, I think it will either be Liara or the Virmire Survivor. Vega seems too . . . innocent. I know fans really like Liara so I THINK it will be the Virmire Survivor. I don't really have any real evidence to back this up, but it's a prediction so WATCHA GONNA DO?

Captain Anderson is screwed, most likely. The fact that he stays on Earth makes his chances of surviving extremely slim. I believe he will probably be indoctrinated, like Saren. 

Tali and Garrus, will probably come out of Mass Effect 3 okay. It's possible that there could be a suicide mission like thing where depending on what you do, you could have characters die at one point.

Donnel Udina, Conrad Verner and Khalisah Bin-Seen Al-Jilani (I butchered that name, didn't I) will be the same . . . as in funny, but useless. However I believe there could be more interaction with Udina.

Vega. I think he'll be fine. If they killed him, I don't think anybody would really care.

Joker, I bet, will either be killed or seriously be injured. 

TIM and Kai Leng will might be bosses and will be killed. Kai Leng, I'm sure of being a boss fight. TIM, not so much.

Mordin, will get killed by the Reapers. I just have a feeling. Wrex . . . he's too tough. If the Reapers wanted to kill him, they'd be crazy.

The Citadel isn't a character, but I feel it will be integral to the story. I think that there's a possibility that they might fly the Citadel ala Arrival style into Earth to kill the Reapers. But I could be totally wrong.

Miranda . . . I have no idea what will happen to her. Like no idea. I can't imagine her joining the Alliance.

Jacob, like Shepard, will have joined the Alliance. I just can't imagine him working with Cerberus still.

Zaeed, Kasumi, Grunt, Jack, Samara/Morinth and Thane will most likely stay as minor characters if they survived. They will probably be useful in helping Shepard though.

Legion, I think, will be very important.

This is completely random, but I hope that there will be part of the game where you're inside a Reaper and your going through a maze of Dragon's Teeth and when your in the middle the teeth come down and you're swarmed with husks.

The bonus character will definitely be new and most likely a human. I really hope it is an Alien, but I don't think that's going to happen.

I agree with all these and speculation is fun, not sure how long this can go without someone mentioning actual spoilers though.

As for me, I'm sort of thinking Liara will die mostly because of her death immunity so far, and how multiple people working on the game have mentioned dramatic and heartbreaking death scenes. She's one of the few that just seem so sweet and innocent, it'd be hard to not get upset seeing her killed.

I actually think Miranda might be an antagonist in this game, at least for awhile. She's just way too loyal to Cerberus and TIM.

I also think Thane will die. I'm still hoping there's a hidden mission to discover a cure for him, ya know, something most players will miss unless they complete everything and talk to everyone.

No, Except for half of ME2, Miri isn´t really solely loyal to Cerberus. She´s loyal to humanity.

I will guess the following will die in ME3

Shepard- Gives his life at the end to save mankind.
Vega- Gets his head sniped off by a sniper.
Kaidan/Ash- Gets impaled and turned into a husk Shepard splatters.
Udina- Killed by attack
Anderson- Killed by attack.
TIM- Shepard takes him out as he goes.
Legion- I think he will die trying to turn the Geth.
Thane- Dies of sickness

It wouldn't surprise me if Liara had a scripted death, considering the death immunity and the fact she was integral in bringing Shep back. Whether people like her or not, I imagine she's one character whose death would affect most people, if not everyone. I certainly can't picture them offing the Virmire Survivor, because it would make the actual Virmire choice seem a bit redundant if they both wind up dead anyway.

Same about Thane too, mostly. I imagine he will die from his disease, and I kind of prefer it that way, sad as it might be, because if there was a cure quest, then you would have to make a conscious decision not to cure him. Which would be a bit asstastic.

Like the OP, I also think Legion - and Tali - will have an important role in the geth/quarian conflict. I hope Shep isn't forced to choose between them though, with the rejected one turning on Shepard.

But honestly, if the character fates are handled anything like they are in Sunshine, I'mma cry. I thought the end of the Earth level in the beta was contrived and lame, but, man. If they pull a John Murphy, my bedroom is going to look like a day in Wales.
