"You got 2 out of 3, not bad"
Made me laugh harder than I expected, lol.

This episode seriously upped the ante for Season 3. Hot damn, that was good.
I knew the Red Lotus was gonna be all about anarchy and chaos, but damn...still never expected this.
All they need is anarchy masks ![]()
I like Zaheer.
It was nice seeing the darker side of bending. The bloodbending episode remains one of my favorites from the original series.
Long Live the Queen spoilers

ikr, kinda makes sense they moved into digital .
p.s I know thats not the reason
Man, I love this series. Hits all the right notes as a sequel to the Last Airbender. And to echo everyone's sentiments, Zaheer is a boss.
Lin (earthbender), Tanraq (waterbender) and Zuko (firebender) are gathered at the same place. I suspect Tenzin (airbender) will meet up with the group soon. Then we will have a showdown between two groups of bending masters.
Just catching up the last few weeks of episodes.
The fight IN episode 8 was great and nice to see the no-names hold their own for once. The rest was procedural but still good. Maybe its just me but Su something is just sketchy to me about here just getting over this huge grudge with her sister and then going behind her back but it could be nothing.
ANd its the little things like when backing out of the bar Korra does the hand motion "Im watching you all" or Naga tail whipping her for having no treats and Pabu tackling the spirit (I had to rewind and watch that a few times) make the difference.
Now I am only half way thru episode 9 but that they want to go after this group is just stupid. I would like a little character growth in that area for this group instead of thinking they can just handle a group that mostly manhandled them, Lin, Su, her sons, and some guards.
Edit: and the Inn Korra doing what appears to be fire daggers great stuff.

I am going with the mustache at 10 and attraction as those two.
I would very much like a little bit on this lava bending and Combustion Bending. They seem to be combinations like Fire+Earth=Lava bending and Combustions seems a lot like Air+Fire.

I agree with it all except Zaheer.

I'm fully expecting Tenzin to get his ass handed to him by Zaheer.

If Kya was able to best Zaheer, Tenzin is capable also

She hung with him. She didn't best him. And I doubt he wanted to kill anyone there. He doesn't seem like the guy that goes around recklessly attacking people. He's more of a strategist. Kya's also a master bender while Zaheer's had air bending for a few weeks. So that says more about him than it does her.

What it says is some poor writing. Surprising his guards is one thing. Going toe to toe with master benders and later just holding his own against guard metal benders is off.
Its good they show his study of the Air Bending gurus and philosophy (very selective he is about it) but if he meets and bests Tenzin its for dramatic reasons.
The .gif of Bane's speech. Someone needs to edit it with Zaheer's words. ![]()

Depends. If it turns out that Zaheer was one Aang's Air Acolytes before joining the Red Lotus then it makes perfect sense.

He could not be because he had no ability at airbending. That is made clear.
What the show has done well is retroactively show his knowledge of airbending and philosophy (again however selective he wants to be about) that he can pick it up.
He has not lived his life with it and I see no reason he should just be able to best someone else (when again he struggled against a few no name metal benders) other then for the narrative.
