• Korrasami. If only...
• Bolin is able to metal/lava bend.
• Korra speaks to Guru Laghima in the Spirit World and learns more about his philosophy.
• Some backstory on our fearless foursome.
• Zuko returns and kicks ass (possibly with his daughter).
• Iroh shows up with Republic Forces and kicks ass as well.
• Korra reconnects with her past lives.
• Toph shows up and kicks ass (maybe even teaches Bolin?)
• Tenzin is still alive.
• Korra energybends and possibly even takes away the foursome's bending.

After watching the two episodes, without spoilers, I think the general appeal for everybody here will be a that Episode 12 and 13 offers a good solid ending to Season 3 that also manages to leave open for a possibly intriguing season 4, but ultimately Zaheer and his 3 members were a big disappointment.

Zaheer won. His philosophy and conviction has Korra questioning and doubting.

 

Korra was not questioning and doubting.  She was just sad and depressed because

That was quite an entertaining episode.

I question the wisdom of leaving the most dangerous member of the red Lotus known alive however given the nature of the show I understand that the good people don't execute prisoners. I don't agree with this notion but anyway. I was happy to hear the anger in his voice when he realized that he had failed and the avatar would continue.

Though I do believe the Red Lotus took a big step towards mustache twirling evil. Murder the avatar wasn't really the motivation I was hoping for.

 

That said I did enjoy it and found the fight quite enjoyable. They did however do a lot to make me dislike the Red Lotus. There had been a few events that made me think they weren't truly evil but that line has been crossed.

I sure thought he did. His handling of defeat was far from what I call graceful. It's a shame no one rubbed salt in his wounds.

He seemed a pretty calm and collected villain always 2 steps ahead of everyone else. Then when he lost he turned into a little girl. A little underwhelming but better than how Amon went out.

But Aang was pretty feminine looking.

Also, I like how Suyin went straigth for the kill. You don't mess with a Beifong woman.

I like how both the bad guys and good guys kill their opponents this season.  A battle has no stake when there is no potential for death.
