here's a nice idea of having a fan moment where a fan of LoK suddenly makes appearance in world of LoK. an Fan lands in front of Tenzin and beating rest of Red Lotus benders, takes out the airship with Combustion girl aboard. the fan ends Red Lotus threat in two blows.

it's pretty much the point. you grow up with Korra.

ya, this is korra after she realizes being the avatar isnt a jolly romp around the spirit world. looking back at young Aang, things were straight-forward. Beat the bad guy, save the world. It was a bunch of kids having fun. But Korra's story is so much less, innocent. 

then againg aang's story is pretty dark if u think about it. all the adults r dead from a great war n all thats left r the old and the children. Sending kids to FINISH A WAR is pretty grim despite the last airbender's sunnier disposition.

the reality of our life is not very nice or jolly once we get to certain age. we view life that it's not like what we thought it was. so we get to see our dreams/hopes crushed by things that happen. we just have to realize at the point that life we're living in is harsh reality.

so we have to let go of our reality that was only a illusion of what we really thought was our own cheerful life. then the harsh reality hammers into us really hard by events that happened to us.

happy beginning to world of chaos ,after book 3 my opinion on korra is really changed,now im not sure aang is stronger or not . his final fight with ozai always made me think he is the strongest but korra has been through a lot .also thats what I call character development

since this is pretty much related to what Korra is feeling like. but she helped me grow up in 2012 and more in 2013 as well. so.. here's a story of mine to share. not sure if you understand where I'm coming from.

I was afraid, scared and alone. afraid to speak up or do anything for myself until Korra showed up in late 2012.


it was during the time I was unsure of myself, who really I am. Korra has taught me so much in life, relationship, friends, family.


by 2013, I finally came out of my former shell of my old self, Brandon.


Thus Cassandra was finally free to be outside, no longer hidden to the world anymore.


Korra really changed my life. I’m actually able to do things for myself, like.. speaking up for myself, be more open to people, being myself. I’m also able to discuss things openly like never before, ever. (except my personal issues and personal discussions)


I owe Korra for that.


I’m also more capable to make decisions for myself and on my own only. I just know that I’m actually growing up to be more woman rather than being a child. you can’t be a child or teen anymore, but at heart you are.


only that you just have to understand that you are now a woman. and you have to do things on your own.

it won’t be easy life, but you will be able to figure it out on your own eventually.

so, this is my life now.


and I have Korra to thank for that.

Why so? I really can't get it.

 

I don't like how the 3 more seasons deal has shaped up to be. I think 13 episodes are not enough for them to do a proper story arc, let alone run multiple ones to full. They didn't make plans for a multi season one, since book 4 is (probably) going to be the last, that boat sailed away.

 

And the villains are starting to be really boring. I don't get why they need to go with benders all the time, they should make Varrick pull a full on Lex Luthor and get to scheming already. But he's too likeable for that I guess.

Answer: yes, althrough she doesn’t exist in real life, but I have very stronger bond with Korra since her appearance in 2012.

the funny thing behind that bond was when I arrived in her world that was created from my dreams right down to detail.

when i arrived in Republic City, i found Korra trying to escape from Amon and Equalists, so i decided the right thing for her.

I ended up fighting and protecting Korra from Amon and his Equalists. despite the fact I had no bending skills, I still fought to protect Korra, I got tied up by Amon.

but I still resisted fiercely, of course Amon had me all blindfolded and on the knees. I was scared, but I would not show my fear no matter how much he would do things to me. which he did not. he also put me in the jail.

I knew i had helped Korra escape from Amon just enough for her to get help. when my blindfold was removed, i was standing above the cliff.

below is huge sea, I’m quite wondering what’s gonna happen to me. i asked Amon himself, he said the very words that got me to show fear quickly.

"you will drown in this sea, nobody will be around to help you. you will be paying for this interference."

and then he pushed me to the edge, then said “good bye”. pushed over into water from 15 foot fall.

i struggled so hard to get free from my restraints, i got my head above the water just enough to see Amon turn around and walk away, leaving me to my death.

of sudden, Naga grabs me and pulled me above water so i could breathe. she was swimming, holding me above water. swam all way to Tenzin’s Air Temple.

from here, Korra was talking to Mako and others including Tenzin. Pabu chittered very loudly and pointed at me with Naga.

Korra was shocked to see me, and quickly grabbed me soon as i was close enough to the dock. said “are you allright? did Amon do this to you?”

i said yes, Amon did this. I’m allright, i owe Naga.”

since then we have grew into close friendship and family, we have bonded like sisters actually. even i was welcomed into Korra’s family by Senna and Tonraq as sister to Korra for real.

that’s how i have much stronger Bond with Korra since then.

i won’t lie to you, kid. bonds between the friends really do last lifetime and remain strong after death. same also applies to characters from different universes like Legend of Korra. they really never die.
