I'm curious about this image:



I think Korra would not appear in front of (as in leading) these guys (the helmet kinda gives them away as baddies) unless, of course, this army is actually surrounding her as she fights one of their leaders, Kuvira maybe? There's a small glimpse of this (the army surrounding her as she fights) in this .gif:

On an altogether different note, am I the only one getting a military-vibe from these suits:



I don't know, perhaps Varrick made them but he seems more technologically-inclined. I would expect him to build a jetpack actually.

I don't think the wing suits are terribly military per say, maybe something Asami cooked up for them while they do their whole Jedi thing now. I got the sense that Korra's fighting someone in front of the army, not with the army, I'm intrigued by the undercover idea though (Even if its a bit unlikely, she's a public figure, Avatar + Professional Athlete + Water Nation Royalty, banking on people not recognizing her is a dicey business)

Considering how well Book 3 turned out, I'm willing to reserve judgment until this season airs. That said, I'm very curious to see the route they are taking with Kuvira.

Possibly, but Varrick is now Tony Stark of the Avatar Universe and Zhu Li is pepper pots. To me anyway.

Good call. She's definitely in The Swamp from ATLA Book 2, or a similar spiritual location. Cause she's clearly not over what happened to her, given this picture as well.

Agreed. That said, I sincerely, sincerely hope they've matured Bolin's character, as it appears he joined the army during the timeskip. While I don't mind him cracking jokes every now and then, I hope to see a more mature and thoughtful side to him, and not have him just be comic relief.

Welp, I'm on the hype train now. This looks very intense, I see they're using a bit of that Slow Motion/Phantom Camera-ish visuals. Yep, Korra's pretty gruff, in comparison to something more akin to Steampunk. Eh, I think it'll work anyway. Who's Zhu Li again? >.>

Also: Been catching up on AtlA, finished Book One. Yeah, that's kinda hard to top. As great as Aang is, I'm a bigger fan of Katara and Zuko. Zuko's quite a brave one to pull off what he's done. Sokka doesn't do much for me. :/ Katara's got some serious backstory and a more assertive female character is always welcome.
