Aye, and I'm pretty much with everyone else on this. The writers wouldn't have chosen a timeskip without good reason.Personally, I love time skips. If done well, they do a great job of creating nostalgia for the "old time". KotOR 2 was a great example of this. Sure, new protagonist, new companions (mostly), but seeing just how much the Star Wars universe had gone to **** offered an excellent contrast to KotOR 1.

My Theory is Avatar-State Korra will be the new villain. After not-Amon almost ending the Avatar cycle, it has triggered events in the spirit world where the Avatar's era is coming to a close.
So Avatar Korra is trying to fight Normal Korra and if Avatar Korra wins, she gets full control of Normal Korra's body and will unleash an Avatar State of tyranny via might makes right.
Then Asami breaks the power Avatar Korra has over Normal Korra's body by exploiting her body's weakness. Asami grabs Korra around the neck and attempt to break her control by feeling her tonsils with her tongue.
During Korra's bout of physical impairment, it was Asami who was at her side through the whole thing. In her weakness, she tended to her, cleaned her, and caressed every intimate inch of her body.
The euphoric shock briefly loosens the control Avatar Korra has over Normal Korra's body. The two lovers exchange good-byes, Asami knows what to do. Tears in her eyes, she grabs Korra's left breast and begins to pump deadly amounts of electricity through her heart, killing her lover, their secret dying right then and there.
The nations mourn the loss of their avatar, Asami is sent to be executed, as the gallows loom ahead, a smile creeps across her face. She will be with her soon.

Yup. This season won't end without showing Aang at least one more time. Korra might die too. If the latter happens, I'm betting on a scene where all the past Avatars welcome her.
korra might die....maybe her death is necessary to achieve "balance". we know tthat she'll be fighting her avatar state. maybe this is how it ends.

Perhaps the way to find true Balance in the world is to end the Avatar itself. Maybe the world needs to learn how to live without an Avatar watching over them and guiding them.
Is anyone buying The Legend of Korra game?
Me, if not just to remember her flowing locks.. lol j/k, no im buying it because I've been waiting for a good Avatar game and this looks like it. I mean i would never buy a last airbender game because of the age of the characters and just not feeling Aang as my kind of protagonist (if they did a adult years version of the characters however I might reconsider.) but Korra is close enough, and it looks great if not a bit like those Naruto games in terms of cell shading.
