Her suppressed thoughts have manifested themselves into... a hallucination? Hard to say if she's gone true cuckoo or it's something else. I like where this is going, though. Roughly what, 28 hours to go?Wow so.. Korra's gone crazy?
the 3yr gap of suppressing her...

the 3yr gap of suppressing her sexuality has severed her spiritual connection with her avatar state and she must accept her feelings for asami whose feelings for she desperately tried to drown out by getting into fights with other women, only when she accepts her feelings with Balance be restored.

EDIT: dominus you now understand the plot for season 4.

Just finished it
not as good as "Zuko Alone" but still one of the better episodes.
Though I am not crazy about bringing back the old Team Avatar members, I want to see the new ones developed more, they definitely need it

Well, that was nothing short of amazing.
Loved the Aang picture, loved Korra's healing (Kill Bill references!), and the overall emotional journey. Not to mention bringing back one of my favorite Last Airbender characters.
I am wondering though if Koh the face-stealer is somehow involved with this Shadow Korra. If this is the final Avatar series, now would be the time to bring him back along.

It's up. Bon appetit.
Just finished, was very satisfied with how it turned out.
Spoiler
i dont think you can argue someone into better health dom..it was sweet wat kitara tried to do, but to me it seemed more like a "you arent the only one hurt, now stop having paralysis" argument.
Raava might show up for sure. going with the theme of past avatars suffering, raava seems to hav a monopoly on that from my understanding. same deal with the facestealer spirit from way back.

Oh and Korra's still wack as f*ck. Even more so after seeing those flashbacks of her recovery. "It should be me out there, not her." Like, who the f*ck are YOU though? Zaheer's reality check didn't do anythiing to that arrogant attitude of hers. As if she's supposed to be some all-powerful problem solver. She's not even a good Avatar, she needs to calm down talking about stabilizing kingdoms.

So, anyone else feel like that was a twenty minute teaser?
Not sure about the current state of Korra's character development. It looks like she hasn't reached the calmer, less arrogant type of Avatar I was hoping for, but it looks like she might still get there.
Also, Korrassami, shipping it

I think part of that is due to her current injury. Granted, we don't want to see Korra regress to her Season 2 "I'm always right" mentality, but more than anything else what she's expressing here is frustration with her own helplessness, which is understandable.

I was out of commission for a while this year and may have to go back out again in the foreseeable future. I can relate to what Korra went through in the flashbacks. I was a little more headstrong. Sure as hell didn't allow anyone to help me shower.

I imagine having your independence removed is quite unpleasant. I'm not sure if it was a matter of let in Korra's case though. If you simply lack the ability your choices are either get help or don't get clean. I wonder if Korra might have had spasms to accompany her weakness. So you go to pick up your cup and instead you throw it across the room.
Hopefully if you do find yourself suffering through a time of greater dependance you can retain enough control of your body to handle the basics.
I've never had to endure such times but I've had a few humanities classes that touched on the subject and well how some people handle it. I have to say given that we're talking about internal and quite likely nerve damage here it seems water bending is more effective medicine then our current treatments. I wonder if going through all this might make Korra more empathetic towards those that lack bending. She was always willing to defend but it could bring on a new level of understanding as to what it means to feel helpless. Though that could also make her a more aggressive defender.

True, I'm just worried she'll get over her injury and regress, as you said, instead of evolve.I think part of that is due to her current injury. Granted, we don't want to see Korra regress to her Season 2 "I'm always right" mentality, but more than anything else what she's expressing here is frustration with her own helplessness, which is understandable.

Considering the spirit can see "Shadow Korra" I don't think it's anything mental. Especially since it showed up after Korra left home. I'm excited to see where it goes from there.
Zaheers poison was Mercury right? Because technically Mercury is a metal...and it's really toxic.
Zaheer also did more to Korra than Amon and Vaatu ever did, and Vaatu is basically the devil...I just love that.
Hooray! Old Toph!

I loled.
