Holy ****. I've been shipping korrasami since book 1, but I thought it wasn't going to become a reality.

It amuses me that people are just going ahead with that pairing as if it's definitive.

Sure, they are just close friends. I mean Asumi being worried about Korra would of died but not Mako sure mean it's not more then a friendship....

Yeah, this. Even if we assume that the final scene was meant to be romantic we have seen how fickle there hearts can be over the four seasons. They left it to the viewers imagination which I liked, if they had started kissing it would have seemed out of place to me.

Why would she bring up Mako? He's irrelevant to the situation.

Because he almost died. In fact he was the closest one to die. Hell, everyone who when in their had a chance of dying. Why is she not also worried about Bolin and Mako being that she is also close friend with them as well?

 

It's specifically Korra and she said it would devastate her on top of her dad dying.

I thought the Korra-Asami ending was a rather enjoyable, surprising, and progressive ending to a rather "Meh" season/series finale. I think I wanted something more epic in scope similar to Season 2's or 3's finale. This felt tame by comparison. Next to Season 1's finale, I think this is the weakest of the set, but will be overlooked due to the near-confirmation of Korra-Asami. Of course, like other people have pointed out, these things are not even close to definitive.

It's specifically Korra because she's talking to Korra.

So no caring about the rest of team avatar. Why not just say" I was scare that you and everyone else would die". Just saying because she was just taking to Korra is not a good enough excuse to exclude the rest of the group.
