And your post is obviously about a lame BSN user who has no f***ing idea what he's talking about.

A:TLA isn't even 1% Japanese. It's not a movie either.

A premiere date has finally been announced: April 14, 11AM. All the cartoons I want to watch on Saturday morning... as it should be. XD

I saw the leaked series premiere video earlier this morning. This show has exceeded my expectations. The landscape art is simply beautiful. Republic City's design is breathtaking. This reminds me of higher quality anime, when they don't cut corners on animation.

Korra and Tenzin are immediately likable characters. She's badass without being stoic or arrogant. A very high energy character that reminds me in some ways of Aang, without being as childish. Although I suppose it helps that she's older. I also like that she looks sinewy.

Downside is I have to wait weeks to see the second episode now. Damn leaks and my lack of willpower. :)

I only hope that the gang that is going to travel with Kora will be an interisting bunch.
One of the things i liked about the original was the gang: Katara,Aang,Soka,Toph...especially Zuko :D.

EDIT: I accidiantly posted twice /_/
Apologies mods and members it wasn't my intent.

It's managed to leak a few places. It's pretty epic.

Ok, just saw it. It's just as good as the original pilot, and even though she's practically the antithesis of everything Aang was, she's just as likeable. It was also cool to see everyone's kids even if they weren't anything like their parents.

Was it me, or is she like ridiculously strong? I mean physically, threw me for a loop towards the end when I caught that.

Yep. That's one of the things I like about her. She looks it too. Early on one of the bending masters mentions she's good at the physical aspect and poor with the spiritual side. I can't remember the last time I've seen a brawny female protagonist in a western cartoon.

Well, keeping it spoiler free. She hugs a few important people at the sametime and lifts them all off of her feet. It's endearing to see that she's a lot tougher than Aang was. Then again Aang was very warm until the end of the third book and that was only for that fight.

Also, I LOVE Giant Polarbeardog! She's definitely going to be cooler than Appa, and I loved that big fuzzball.

The first two episodes will be available for viewing this Saturday at Korra Nation. Looks I won't need to wait for weeks to catch the next episode after all.

And yes, I lurve the polar beardog. I also smiled when she hug-lifted those four. Korra reminds me more of Toph than Aang. I loved Toph, so that's a good thing.

Exactly. It's a really cool twist on Aang's strengths/weaknesses, because he really was all about the spiritual.  While Korra seems just as energetic, she's also different in some very cool ways.
