They're being chased by giant robot driving, tesla glove wielding, bending-taking-awaying bad guys. I don't at the height of this is the right place to insert that piece of dialogue.

They better not touch Lin! They already robbed her of being the 2nd most powerful bender right after Korra. She has to regain standing somehow. I think even though we've seen a lot of Tinzin, we haven't learned much about Aang's family. Maybe a death there or a removal of bending could bring the focus on Aang's bloodline. I know I would like to see it and since they're trying to be edgy with it they could kill off one of Tenzin's kids.

They did just have a new born and are n the run. Considering the time period it's mimicking and the fact that there are no water benders/healers with them. There's could be complications with that kid. Removing the bending would be cold too.

If I were to kill any of the characters (or make it appear as though they have died) for cheap dramatic effect, I think I'd pick Tenzin. So many of the other characters rely on him for support of one kind or another, particularly Korra. And it'd give Lin opportunities for flashing back and remaining relevant to the story, if she gets rescued. (Before Asami teaches her Aikido.)

S'pose I can't comment much on the other stuff, being a robot myself.

As far Asami choosing to side with Team Korra, I like to think she did not do so strictly because of Mako. She may really like the guy, but she isn't dependent on him to exist. When Korra accused Hiroshi Sato of being an Equalist sympathizer, she referred them to negatively. Asami was clearly not an Equalist fan to begin with, so I don't think she turned her back on Hiroshi just because her boyfriend is a firebender. In short, she isn't that hateful or petty.

I don't think she's that petty either, I guess I'm just a pessimist. I've seen a lot of romantic 'extras' fall by the wayside to make room for the Alpha Couple and I feel like that would be a cheap but obvious way to get her out of the way.

Anyways, they're talking about even more people losing their bending and maybe even a few deaths. What's your thoughts on that? Who's a prime candidate to die? You think Korra will lose her bending? It was hinted in the promo.

I think Mako would actually be a great candidate for losing his bending. It'd give him some legitimate stuff to angst about and might distinguish him a little more. He could have a nice, juicy existential crisis a la Sokka about wanting to be the big brother and protector but not having any of those fancy powers to rely on.

Lin, Tenzin and/or Bolin had better not die. I love them.

I think with the Asami and Mako debate, we're all just beating a dead horse. So I think we should all drop it, everyone has their own opinions (mine is the same as 'Droid's) and I think we can all agree to disagree. As for taking away bending...I'd like to see well nobody lose their bending to be honest haha I love all the characters soooo so much. Especially Bolin, Mako, Korra, Lin, Tenzin...like I said EVERYBODY

Thanks for linking that interview. Interesting stuff there. They think there are stories worth telling beyond a second season huh? Excellent. The way they discussed this finale, I wonder if it will be the end of the Equalist story arc after all. The hinting makes it sound preeetty epic.

I saw the ending of the current newest episode with 'General Iroh' and I LOL'd so hard at first I was like OMG YAY ZUKO ('cause of the voice), then I was like wait a sec...Zuko's dead who thuh? Then the soldier was like "blah blah blah General Iroh" and I was like . I like his hair. It was an awesome moment for me, tho'. Zuko is still alive by the way. According to that Republic City flash thingie on Nick's website, he stepped down as Firelord years back and now travels the world as an ambassador working towards peace. He's just ooold now.
