In case anyone's interested all three seasons of ATLA are $20 apiece on Amazon when they used to be $30. Maybe it's not that big a deal but you save $30 if you buy all three.

Can anyone who's already bought them confirm if they have subtitles?

I bought all 3, the complete book edition, I'm assuming it has subtitles, but I didn't use any, I can confirm later though.

Some of the reviews are none too gracious. Similar complaints to the complete book collections really, lousy packaging, bad video quality, etc.

Yep, it's great quality, you can fool around with it, depending on your setting, I just watched over my xbox and it has a few options to change the way it's displayed. I'm assuming quality also depends on your TV as well, so. I have a 32 inch in my room and it looked wonderful.

Ah okay. Ahaha. Yeah, I can't for part 2. I really enjoyed the comics as well, as I was reading them, I could hear the VA's voices, so that to me, was a great thing. I suggest them to whoever else is on the line, sort of speak... about getting them.

I read that the writers originally proposed to Nickelodeon to make a TV movie about "The Search" but when they got turned down opted for the graphic novel treatment.

It just occurred to me. Either bending can or cannot be taken away from someone. If it can't, then Korra can simply restore a person's "link" to his bending. But if it can, then Korra's really giving Lin the ability to bend, implying Korra could make anyone a bender.
