Plus Korra sounds a bit older.

That was just one big episode though.KT Chong wrote...
The first two episodes of the second season are kinda, underwhelming.

In what way?
By the way, did they mention how many episodes season two is going to have?

Can I return to this site and watch live every friday then?
I'm really hoping so. Today was one of the few days I have the TV to myself.

@spirosz: The series was expanded further in July 2012 to 52 episodes. These episodes will be grouped into four separate seasons ("books") composed of 12 to 14 episodes ("chapters") each, with each season telling a stand-alone story. The Legend of Korra will conclude with the fourth season.

It worked as a set up, but the spirits seem to have been underplayed thus far. Figure they'll get more into it later on, but right now it there doesn't seem to be any major conflict sans the occupation.
This series has a tendancy of having huge conflicts that seem to get resolved quickly. And with the avatar state. That's why things felt slightly anticlimatic.

I think they'll be back though.

Now, I really enjoyed these first two chapters and I can't wait to see the rest, but again - my main concern is just going off what they did in season one. Hopefully everything works out.
And where was Wan's statue in the Air temple? That seemed a bit strange, how it felt "disconnected" -- I'm really hoping it has some relation to Energy Bending, since I love that whole aspect.

Is it strange that I find Bolin's strange successful in to getting close to Korra's cousin perversely cute?

I died, I already enjoy the two.

Well the whole spirit thing has been going on since the hundred years war. I think this'll be another guy trying to do what he thinks is best but only making things worse in the process. Same way Tenzin and Korra's dad did. My money's on the the uncle himself likely causing an imbalance via this occupation the same way the Fire Nation did during the war.Lord Aesir wrote...

@Hanar, I would have been fine with the avatar state solving things if we got a bit more of a previous Avatar showing her what to do. Though she's still using it as a crutch since she beat Amon, so I'm guessing it'll come back to bite her at some point.

Yeah, but I wonder if his ability to calm spirits also allows him to control them.Greylycantrope wrote...

Alternatively, I wonder if Korra's overuse of the Avatar state is causing an imbalance.
