To be fair, Aang didn't get eaten by a giant dark spirit. I'm still wondering if Unaloq is possessed by Koh the face-stealer or another evil spirit.

People, the Avatar included aren't supposed to enter and exit the spirit world except for specific periods of time like the Winter and Summer Solstices. Having a permanent gateway like the spirit portal could seriously upset the natural order.

I don't think so, Unalaq's expression when the twins tell him the Avatar is dead says it all. He is shocked. I don't think Koh would give a toss.

I'm in love with this series. Here hoping that someday someone will make an RPG of it... Imagine if we could create our own avatar from scratch, BioWare style and playing in that world, exploring it and meeting new characters, new events, find love interests and shape a dynasty on our own... ... ... Ahhh... *sighs*

It's called Jade Empire and its writing is better than LoK's.

So what? This doesn't mean LoK and the Avatar world don't have the potential. Jade Empire is done and their writers are not planning anything in that world for now.

You speak of heresy, there has been some talk about a Jade Empire game in a distant future!

Aang wakes up after being frozen for 100 years and remembers everything.

Korra wakes up after a few days and remembers nothing (except how to bend).

TOMFOOLERY.

My guess is that when the accident happened, Korra wanted so bad to forget everything that just happened that her mind shut on its own when she passed out. Aang was trying his best to carry his duty as the avatar and it's probably why he remembered everything when he woke up. This is just a farfetched theory, but it could work.

Sooo, I've just watched the Sting episode and I got to say... it was good. A good mix of action, suspense, drama and so on. And no Korra acting like self-centered biaaatch. But I have some small complaints.

I enjoyed the action scene on the sea, that was rad as hell. Doesn't change the fact that the animation is stiff - next episodes will be done by studio Mir again, so we can expect things to get a lot better... looking at least.

Then we had plot-twists, after plot-twists.

Varrick turned to be "evil", or at least greedy and manipulative to the point where he wants to start a war to make a profit. It wasn't exactly subtle the way they went with it, but then again it's a show for kids not Agatha Christie's novel. I guess they wanted to make him some sort of a Bond villain, dramatic chair turn and fingers pose included. Woudn't be surprised if the Unalaq turned out to be a "good" guy know.

All he needs is a cat, shame they don't exist in that world.

And THEN there is amnesia which is such a lazy and tired plot-point, that I won't waste my time on it. Here is to Aaang or Wan restoring her memory in a couple of episodes.

I still think that there is room for Unalaq and Varrick to both be ****s.

Firebenders: How did you end up on our island?

Korra: What's an island?

How I think it should have gone. I mean, memory loss should be memory loss, context information and everything if it's that severe. Or maybe it's the special kind of selective amnesia.

Oh boy is this going to be fun.

If amnesia means, we will no longer get this Korra then I guess I'm on board. For now.

This statement pains me something fierce.

I'd actually rank Avatar's writing on par with Jade Empire. I like them both is what I'm saying.

Mako's got crazier lady killer powers than Sokka. It's something to behold.
