Sooo, I've just watched the Sting episode and I got to say... it was good. A good mix of action, suspense, drama and so on. And no Korra acting like self-centered biaaatch. But I have some small complaints.
I enjoyed the action scene on the sea, that was rad as hell. Doesn't change the fact that the animation is stiff - next episodes will be done by studio Mir again, so we can expect things to get a lot better... looking at least.
Then we had plot-twists, after plot-twists.
Varrick turned to be "evil", or at least greedy and manipulative to the point where he wants to start a war to make a profit. It wasn't exactly subtle the way they went with it, but then again it's a show for kids not Agatha Christie's novel. I guess they wanted to make him some sort of a Bond villain, dramatic chair turn and fingers pose included. Woudn't be surprised if the Unalaq turned out to be a "good" guy know.

All he needs is a cat, shame they don't exist in that world.
And THEN there is amnesia which is such a lazy and tired plot-point, that I won't waste my time on it. Here is to Aaang or Wan restoring her memory in a couple of episodes.
