@RedJohn - Books three and four have already been confirmed.
Thanks.
Also, as vaatu was "destroyed" while being linked to unalaq, there can be a posibility that a new "dark" avatar cycle starts from now?

That, would either be fantastic or more likely totally show wrecking if they tried something like it.Luxorek wrote...
Not to mention that spirits are not bound by the physical laws and can basically do what they want. It seems that in their natural state they are docile and generally stay away from humans and when they don't... well, we all know. They go where they want and nothing can really stop them - hell, it's not all flying bunnies. I just hope we won't see something akin to Pokemon, where everyones adopts a spirit...
OH. MY. GOD.

On a side note, it just occurred to me Korra killed Unalaq without hesitation. That's refreshing.

Well, Raava did say that Darkness and Light cannot exist without one another. So he's around... Somewhere.Seagloom wrote...

It wouldn't surprise me. Then again the way Vaatu was destroyed makes it dodgy. Korra used Unalaq's spirit pacifying technique which supposedly converts spiritual energy from negative to positive. Who knows if Vaatu can even come back after that. A being of pure chaos and darkness twisted into its polar opposite? I don't think we'll see him for several thousand years. Which effectively means we won't see him again. XD

Seriously, this season took many plot elements from Mass Effect.
More specifically, Mass Effect 2.

Thankfully, nobody.
Well the next Book is entitled "Dark" so... Maybe sooner than you think.Seagloom wrote...
Yes, I expect he will return. Just not anytime in the near future or bonded to another human. Since Vaatu was soundly beaten he has no choice but to wait out 10,000 years of light. Suck it, Vaatu.

I'm not reading into that too much. Dark is such a vague title it could mean anything. I thought it might be tied to Vaatu before on the assumption he got to rampage through the world. Now it seems like a reach to me. I wouldn't be surprised if it was spirit related given they can freely roam now, but Vaatu doesn't need to have anything to do with it.

I'd probably prefer Vaatu over that. -.- I'm really, *really*, REALLY hoping he doesn't return 'cause it'll be the dumbest twist since Asami kissed Mako in The Sting. XD
