Loved the episode. I dont want to call it a filler, Fillers are dirty, dirty tricks cheap TV shows do to propagate their episode count. This episode had weight and meaning behind it. Dont call it a filler. >:T

On the romance front, I wonder what Mako sees in Asami really. I like
her okay, but she is just sort of there. Other than being pretty in a
feminine way, she does not seem to do or say anything particularly
interesting or insightful. He is a teenage boy though, so... eh...
probably reading too much into it.
Maybe that IS why Mako likes her. Because shes THERE. This is a kid who, if memory serves, watched his parents die and took up the responsibility of caring for his little brother.
I dont think the ponytail guy is Ammon, its too much of a cop-out, besides the two dont match. Ammon is a seething monster driven by pain, The ponytail guy is a manipulative not-so-nice-person. Not to mention, to Ammon, hes saving the nonbenders from the bending elitists while the Ponytail guy sees every last person in the room as a means to an end.
