Update: http://korranation.t...digital-release

"The remaining episodes will roll out weekly on Nick.com and the Nick app beginning August 1, as well as on platforms like Amazon, Google Play, Xbox and Hulu."

So Korra will become an online-only digital show.  It's not coming back on TV.  Such a sad and depressing ending for a great show.

I was afraid of this. Most, if not all, of these platforms are region-locked to the U.S. At the very least, none of them are available in my country. As always, Nickelodeon strives to be worse. <_<

Proof please. I'm getting tired of the piracy excuse without hard numbers to back it up.

I don't see why they couldn't work a deal out with Netflix. While I live in the US I know a lot of the viewers are international. Hell it was a crew of Canadians (LOL) that put me on to Avatar in the first place. At least Netflix is an international platform.

Yeah. Plenty of other shows do just fine, piracy isn't exclusive to Korra.

The release times weren't working for me, and I've watched all the episodes online, so I'm okay with it, but I feel really bad for those who will be negatively affected by it. The fandom always finds a way to get it to everyone, though.

Piracy can't kill a show when it's the only way for people outside of the US to watch it. If anything it helps maintain the fanbase. It certainly did better than nick anyway .

Fair's fair though. At least I can download the wallpapers!

Would love it if they made a Korra themepack for Windows 7.

Nickelodeon has decided money is for losers, so why try to make any?

Would this have an effect towards it being released on DVD/Blue-Ray in the future?

Not sure. I guess they are gonna have to find a new distributor.

No. Its been confirmed that a season 4 passed pre-production.

That wasn't actually a question. I know, confusing with the question mark and all.

If you are in North America, you should be able to watch Season 3 episodes on the official Nick.com website for free.  However, most cable providers throttle Nick.com (because Nick.com has not paid an upfront fee to cable providers to speed up download or streaming.)

Netflix has paid a fee to the cable providers Comcast and (I think) Time Warner to provide faster streaming.  I think Amazon and Google have done the same.  So their streaming/download speed should be faster.

As far as I know, Hulu has NOT paid a fee to any cable provider.  (Not that Hulu can afford the "protection fee" anyway.)  So steer clear of Hulu.  (Seriously, the future of Hulu is unsettled now that Net Neutrality is dead in the US.)

That is the current situation in the US.  So keep that in mind should you decide to pay for Korra episodes.  Cable providers are allowed to do that sort of shady dealing in the US.  If you are in Canada, you should be fine with whatever.

Nick.com blocks Canada when it comes to watching episodes. So it's really just for the U.S. and whatever country Nick.com doesn't care enough about to block.

Just to let you know, there's a panel on the Korra game at 03:15pm PDT (approximately 2h 45m from now). You can watch it here:

http://www.ign.com/events/comic-con

I think there was a panel on the show itself but I missed it.
