I know plenty of guys with long hair. It suits them better than any sort of short hair ever would.

As for high maintenance: my hair is waist-length. I wash it twice a week (ten minutes each), brush it every day (two minutes. Usually while watching stuff on Youtube), and that would be about it. If it's windy, or if I need to go somewhere by bike, I tie it back, which takes all of three seconds. 
I may just be lucky with my hair, but more often than not, I get the idea that people who complain about 'maintenance' never tried it before. And it does look better than short hair on most people in my opinion.

Really?  We have it easy and just have to act cute to get stuff?   I seemed to have missed out on this.  Are the blonde cheerleader types that are mean and awful to people so ingrained in people's minds that it causes them to stereotype all of them? Personally, I was better treated by strangers when I dyed my hair red than my previous 22 years of being blonde.

Wearing the same clothes all the time is 'e-z', too. Living off of unemployment benefits is as well (trust me on that one).  Doesn't mean it's optimal.
Now, if you said 'I just like shorter hair better', that would've been fine. But 'it's easy' strikes to me of laziness.

Yeah, my hair is past the half way point of my back. Its not waist length yet, but its getting closer every day.

Have to brush it every day, washing is obvious. Also have to get it blow dried, straightened, and washed at a stylist every few months(I'd do it every week if I could afford that).

Totally worth it. Women are always giving me that look like they want to eat my face. Dunno if that should be scary.

Also, it gives me an excuse to have women run their hands down my scalp and through my ROYAL CASCADE OF LUSCIOUSNESS.

Well in a nut shell; Mass Effect serves the "Dark-Haired Agenda" of belittling blonde haired people and serves as a launching point in their non-blond world view, which in this case is done through the medium of video games.
