Seriously, before Mass Effect 2, I have never played any bioware games. Of course, there are some things about M2 i dont like still but in general, M2 set the standard for Shooter RPG in 2011, in my opinion.
The dislike:
DLC- too many, too costly.
The weapons from certain DLC are the worst. I know it is a good way for making money. But even when i want to buy, when i dont have a credit card i cant buy... so i would rather a full version game which is more costly rather than how ME2 is like. So far, i cant purchase the DLCs because i dont own a card. and due to my nationality.
The games I bought are all off shelves.
The likeS:
Deep Role Playing. Set you thinking and paying attention to details of conversations with the timing left and right clicks.
Gameplay. The game is not only Shepard. The game is about the Normandy Crew. Team work.
Creativity. The aliens are rendered so beautifully and with character and pretty original artwork which you will only see in ME.
Honestly, when i first bought ME2, i didnt play ME. I bought the game because of the reviews. But after I have completed ME2 for the first time, I bought ME to see what I have missed.
Suggestion which I think will make the game even more ME like:
Connections between crew, not only Shepard and Miranda or Shepard and Grunt etc etc.
The game would be more interesting if Jack and Thane had a relationship, i mean for example. Or after bringing Jack and Miranda on a mission, the relationship (doesnt have to be love, can be friendship) improves. Or Legion and Tali becomes good friends after a mission where Legion saves Tali from a bullet or something.. I certainly do think it will create more dimension.
Oh not to mention, the relationship turning for the worse as well, like entangled in a love triangle... etc. War between the two particular races happens concurrently.
Suggestion for M3 *hope it is not too late

One thing about DLCs - you don't need a credit card to get 'em, I don't have one, and was able to pay for Bioware points with a money transfer. (besides, weapons aren't necessary to finish the game, I have only bought the mission/assignment ones, LotSB, Arrival and Overlord)

Also, many stores sell pre-paid credit cards, which are essentially gift cards to everywhere. They're usually on a rack with gift cards to other places.
