What's yours? Mine is Zevran, hands down. Dayyum that's one smokin hot piece of elf. Delicious. Posted Image

I think Morgan is OK. I like her romance subplot and relationship with a male Warden, I despise how it ends in Origins but I rather like how it ends in WH. Though, I'm really not into hetero relationship stuff at all.

The other two are meh. I think that Leliana is uhh... too much of a Joan of Arc weirdo. And I've said plenty about that Adair kid... can't stand him, too much of an idiot, and too much of a virgin, etc. People with personality experience are many times more interesting. (a bit of conversation you can have with Zevran implies that that kid is extremely crappy in bed, lol.)

A virgin who is rubbish in bed? How unthinkable. Here I thought everyone was born with experience between the sheets!  *Rolls eyes*
In answer to your question; Alistair is my favorite!

He's a pathetic little weenie. Acts like a goddamn teenagers and whinges nonstop about blah blah blah. I wish I could reach through the monitor and give that kid a broken nose. Oh, and dumps you in spite of the fact that you've pissed your life away for the sake of all this, and then goes and bangs creepy insane goth chick and gets her all up the duff with the super cliche antichrist. And he sucks in bed, I can tell by the PC's expressions. Virgins are also just plain vile. Disgusting.

Why not title this thread "I'm going to **** about Alistair again now" since we all know that's the only reason you come to this forum. No need for all the deception. You don't really care who everyone's favorite love interest is.

To answer your question, Morrigan is my favorite. Though, there are playthroughs I do now with no romance at all.

I'll play along with your little game. You said he "dumps you after pissing your life away for all this". You are a Grey Warden, your job is to end the Blight. Not fall in love. You say that he "bangs some crazy goth chick" who just happens to be the same "crazy goth chick" that you praise in your 1st post about being a good love interest for a male pc warden. And he only "bangs" her if YOU make him do it. Finally, you say that "virgins are vile". Last I checked, we all start out as "vile virgins" before the 1st time we have sex.

(On my phone, it won't let me quote others posts)

He dumped you didn't he.  You never saw it coming.  He hurt you and now you want to hurt him.  (takes a deep breath)

He's not real.  Try to remember that and let your bitterness go.

I love how shockingly original it was to have a NPC up and leave you, up till now only Bioware does romance and they do it well.  They really hit the ball out of the park with Alistair.  His romance is such a roller coaster of shocks it makes for very poignant rp's.

That being said there are 3 reasons his romance is not my favorite.

1. He tells you to kill a certain someone who is possessed, you do it and he acts like you crapped on his pancakes, he's the x templar and he's the one who would know about this stuff, killing the person was a devastatingly horrible thing that would deeply affect many a PC's probably already fragile psyche but to then have him act like he does when you took his advice is horrible, I should really be able to "break his nose" in this conversation.

2. He's racist.  I say this with much love in my heart, Ali is a product of his world and time and however subconscious it is he is racist because he will only marry a human female who is also a warden and cannot have children but when any other warden wants to marry him he says no because 2 wardens cannot have children.  In reality he will not marry her because she is not human, if he called a spade a spade then I would not have this problem obviously Ferelden would never accept a nonhuman queen, but he needs to man up and admit thats why, when he does not it makes me the player believe he also feels that way. So He's a little bit racist.

3. Finally he's a baby. When he admits to being someone he was not if you are in a romance with him and you RP that you are shocked by his revelation, a little hurt, a little mad he acts like a tool when you go to apologize.  Snark back and he's broken up with you.  I was like WTF? Really?  Your the one keeping secrets and your breaking up with me for being mad?   Then he acts like a baby when you threaten the revered mother in Lothering you can kill a soldier in the wilds and he get -3 approval, mildly annoyed, threaten the revered mother in Lothering even if you rp that you would never follow through with the threat and you net -10 approval.  How is a threat worse than murder especially when I am only threatening someone in an organization that enslaves and dehumanizes an entire subset of people and drugs another to maintain control over them?

So Alistair is a darling with a great story but not my favorite.

Zevran wins for a million reasons.  Zev accepts my NPC for who she is no matter who she is if she returns the favor.  He is her first chance to offer life when all she has been able to give is death. He is compassionate to those being subjugated and quick to wrath against the warden should she make the wrong choice.  I had a city elf who slaughtered the ADalish because she was capricious- her name was Caprice after all- I loved the venom he directed at her.  Zev overcomes a lot to be able to love the warden and still is never able to say it but he shows it in many ways over many playthrus including his epilogue and facial expressions during the US playthru.  Zev might let you tent him but he will not love you until nearly the end but even unromanced he is your brother in arms until victory or death.  Zev was raised in such a way that he should be a broken amoral sociopathic mess.  But he has an innate goodness that is evident in most of his comments and conversations he is puzzled and saddened when he does not quite measure up and I take his approval dings to be more of hurt than anything else.  The only way to play a zev mance is on PC where ejoslin fixed all that was broken in the code.

I Love Zev.  He's the best.

I don't really care for Leiliana I romanced her once with my Anti establishment Female Elf Mage.  She loved that bard with everything in her evil little heart.  But Andraste was a symbol of evertything she hated about the chantry and my poor psychoi Aura had to put her lover down, she was shocked, devastated and mourned the rest of the game. She took Ali's cherry after lotherring to toy with him and quite brutally broke up to tent Zevran she might be an evil crazy Anders type mage but she was no cheat.  After Leil she just used Zev for company and bodyheat, the poor fool fell in love with her.

I would romance Morrigan in a heartbeat but she isn't into chicks but she makes a great BFF

During the Landsmeet, if a non-Human Noble Warden chooses the "Alistair will be king, and I'll rule beside him." dialogue option, Alistair's response is "I don't think that would work. The Landsmeet barely wants to accept me. They'll never accept a queen who isn't from a noble family." (emphasis mine)

That's not racist. It's pragmatic.

There once was a small chaos theory
Who whined and made all us weary
Some tried to point out
That it's quite rude to pout
But alas! It still is quite dreary

Hmm... the last line... not enough meter... allow me to revise a bit:

But alas! It is still all quite dreary

WHY CAN STEN NOT BE ROMANCEABLE?
I tried Zevran, but I made the mistake of taking Alistair instead :P
Made up for that with Loghain at the landsmeet.
Zev is my fav though, even though I havent romanced him yet -.-

I didn't fine any of the characters interesting enough to "Romance" Though I did take the offer to sleep with Morrigan, I was thinking more of the fact that IF Alistair killed the Dragon He would be safe from dying.

On a lark I'd have romanced Shale... come on she has a rock hard bod!!!:P

Sebastian Cousland has a love-hate relationship with his homeland. He finds most people, pretentious, self-righteous and bigoted. He counts it unfortunate that a land that has overcome so much still can't slay it's own demons, so he, in his own way makes it a point to go against the grain whenever and wherever he can. He has a thing for elven women and still mourns the loss of Iona. Since there are no female elven candidates, his choice is Morrigan. However, if the possibility existed, he would father an elven love child and dare people to speak ill of him/her.

The same counts for Uriel Amell. ;^)

Eh, let's go down the list.

-Leliana is my least favourite by default. Don't get me wrong, she's a great character, but her charms don't appeal to me. (Red hair, French accent, a reformed bad girl, "confused," vulnerable, a little loopy, extremely girly). While I acknowledge that these traits are beautiful, endearing, and even great, they just don't do anything for me personally.

-While I love Morrigan and consider her to be everything I find attractive in women all wrapped up in one person (raven hair, ivory skin, yellow eyes, British accent, Goth, exotic, nature-oriented, confident, out-spoken, dangerously sexy) the fact is she is not bisexual and I don't want to incorperate a mod or play as a male character just to woo her.

I guess that leaves an even tie between Zevran and Alistair. I can't choose one or the other because I honestly think they're both awesome in different ways.

-Alistair is sweet, sincere, goofy, awkward, muscular, manly yet boyish, handsome yet insecure, submissive, eager to please, romantic, giving, open about his feelings (good or bad), a pluckable virgin, and tries to cover his faults by being snarky and funny. A very good friend, snark buddy and a faithful, dedicated lover.

Zevran, by contrast is fun, flirty, open-minded, easy-going, experienced in bed, smooth-talking, witty, confident, a well-tanned, leather-clad, bisexual assassin, a Spanish accent, a vorracious man and womanizer that can genuinely and believably fall in love, is very open about jumping in bed but very insecure about sharing his feelings, and keeps up his bad-boy persona to hide his real self. A very good friend, snark buddy and (if romanced the right way) faithful, dedicated lover.

Who I choose just depends on the player character and the playthrough.

Morrigan all the way. I created a male character to romance her, and he's now my canon Warden, that's how much I loved that save file.

I can't really explain it... it just feels as though the Morrigan romance is so much more touching, in a way, than the others. Zevran's is adorable once he falls in love, don't get me wrong, but Morrigan's seems different, somehow. Maybe it's because she's so innocent, really, before joining up with the Wardens, even though she likes to profess that she knows everything. Maybe it's because Morrigan's romance gets a semi-conclusion with Witch Hunt. Whatever it is, she's my favorite love interest.

Leliana. Hands down. I only play male characters, and most of them kill off Zevran (who'd trust an assassin), and Morrigan just gets tiresome unless I'm playing a b*stard, what with her survival-of-the-fittest-and-the-rest-can-burn-for-all-I-care outlook.

Leliana (she is sweet, charming, both spiritual and worldly, and show knows how to use a bow...I really liked the character), then Morrigan (she was hot, with a ****y and cruel exterior, but it can be eroded down a bit so you can see a different side of her, especially with the ring she gives you). I think my Warden was one of the few who managed to be with both characters through my main game.

Anora, I like a strong woman, not a sadist (looking at you witch of the wilds).
