I refuse to install your spyware EA. Sorry Bioware I'm a big fan, been buying your games since MKD2. But I refuse to install Origin just to play this game. As much as I loved ME1 and ME2 I simply refuse to be a customer until EA stops being so god damn greedy and removes the spyware from Origin.

Ya think?

What's sad is that Bioware just can't do anything about it.

Seriously EA... WHY?

Anyways, *cough* better take this back to the other thread. ;P

I think I'd rather just delete my saves. Origin is an unpleasant piece of software which gives me nothing except annoyance. As a customer of EA, what does Origin give me in terms of value added over playing a game without Origin? Its integration with BF3 is so shocking, why am I going to spent money on having to use Origin? Shareholder valve is good at devaluing games.

Yes, because Origin is obviously a plot by Bioware to steal all your porn. FEAR ORIGIN, IT IS EVIL.

Also, I'd just like to point out that the title of this thread is innaccurate. How many people do you think are going to download Origin JUST for Mass Effect 3? There are fans that are dedicated to the company enough that they'll download, buy, or install anything that allows them to play the game.

Origin = More customers for Origin
Not less for Bioware.

Even though there are so many of you b*tching about this, a large percentage of you are gonna get it anyways. You'll continue to b*tch, but you'll get it.

it also sucks for those who don't have home internet, activating the game with Origin is a bad idea :/

Co-sign. I may have had some intent of getting ME3 for my PC especially since it's featuring online co-op now, but no more. I'm voting with my wallet against lame spyware.

yeah it used to be, but was unstickied because they dont want other people who are visiting the forum to see a 150+ pages rant in only 2 days, on top of all discusion only because our mighty ea decided to smear that garbage origin on our me3 pc copies. :bandit:

No, it's not stickied because it doesn't need to be. If people want to continue talking about it then they will, if they don't, the thread will be allowed to die. Not every thread created by bioware needs to be stickied.

You can see why EA is doing this - several of the games they are selling (ME3, BF3, etc) are good enough to pull people over to using Origin. Unfortunately, Origin is also bad enough to prevent some people (myself included) from buying their games.

I don't like the idea of having to go online to activate something I purchased to play. What if my internet is down or I have to suspend it for the summer due to financial hardship they should not be allowed to prevent me from playing my game since I did pay for it. That being said I do like the idea of an online storage library for my games so when I change PCs I can just log in and not worry about finding CD/DVDs that may have been lost broken or misplaced. I already have Origin so the only thing that effects me is the annoyance of being required to have an active internet connection at all times.

What's so bad about Origin, seriously? It has been proven that Origin is no spyware. It doesn't spy more than steam does.

Get over it.

I would hide under a rock or go silent now.(for the sake of your safety JK) A lot of people these days will not believe anything even if you slapped the truth in front of them.
