Hi,

What happened to the Mass Effect 1 site, it's all messed up and almost 0 links work? I own DLC (bring down the sky) and I can't get to the cdkey page. Instead of asking around here, I wanted to get in contact with bioware. I clicked "email us" and "customer support" at http://www.bioware.com/

Instead of getting the chance to contact bioware, I get redirected to https://help.ea.com/...e?showhome=true   It asks which game I want support from: I can choose 3(!!!!!!!!) games: Dragon Age Legends, Dragon Age Origins, and Dragon Age 2.

Incredible, this is I think the third time that I can't get support for a game.I'm getting annoyed up with this stuff, first it was the Baldur's Gate patches that were suddenly all deleted, now it's Mass Effect. Why is it that everything old get's deleted? It'd be easier to just say "sorry but we dont support this anymore, go look somewhere else". IMO broken links are very annoying.

So can someone please give me a working link to the bring down the sky cd-key site?

Thanks in advance,
Justin

There is no ME1 site, It got taken down after the ME1 forums got hacked, and a lto of old accounts got compromised.

Perhaps you should have looked at these forums more carefully, and then you would have noticed the thread stickied up the top of the forum that gives you all the answers you need in regards to BDtS.

Thanks for replying,

I've read the first sticky and the links provided in the first post are dead. I then went to EA's site and finally found Mass Effect 1 support. Surprisingly, the links over there are dead as well. I would've thought a big company like EA could keep some links online, apparently not.

So, if I want to play a DLC I bought 3 years ago I need to contact their support line and get a code? The last page of the sticky has posts of ppl who say it doesn't really work.

I still don't understand why it has to be this hard to get a simple cd-key.

Perhaps you should actually read the thread, instead of just clicking on the links within it.

Hint: The last couple of pages have a generic BDtS product key listed, which will work with teh DLC thats available from the link in the first post.
