I already have about 2 saves made and 1 in progress with 9 more planned

I'm trying to get as many contingencies as i can get for ME3 just to see if my choices matter this time round. I can easily finish a ME2 playthough in about 2-3 days so Hopefully I can finish by the time the game comes.

Same as ME2's preparation, 1 male, 1 female. Both Paragons. No patience to repeatedly do everything in the game for another perfect run. 2 is quite enough for me. Still working on the male save.

Not too bad, I'm trying to make one where I 100% support cerberus or a full on Humon supporter shepard where only Humans survived the SM

DAMN I play male shep all the time that I didn't make any saves for a fem one, Maybe I'll make one for the hell of it.

Male Shep, Renegon, LI Miranda, import with no LI from ME1
Femshep, Paragade, LI Liara
Femshep, renegon, LI Liara
Maleshep pure Paragon
Femshep, Pure Renegade with the exception of the genophage, none of my Sheps support that

I think i have around 9 ME2 saves, but only 4 of them will advance to ME3. However, I finally got the first Mass Effect, so I might make it 5, just so i have a renegade save spanning all three games.

but i guess my main save will be my:

male shep
soldier
paragade
LI is yvonne strahovski... i mean miranda.

second save will be:
male shep
adept
renegon
LI is miranda again... sorry cant help it.

then ill do a couple of fresh games as a vanguard and an engineer or something.

I don't understand how some of you can have more than 2-3 saves. Are you that bored? No other games on the waiting list?

^ they took Bioware "thousands of variables " promise too literally I guess. I'm sure they're not lying, but it's bad for business to admit that most of them are just a different line of text or an email, and that they're referring to word count when they say "thousands" of different variations.

However many I'm left with when I'm in the mood to play Mass Effect which is around one for every year. Probably wont matter much if you have 2 or 20.

Its not that were bored or are waiting for Mass Effect 3, some of us truly want to see all that ME offers and were playing at every possibility/decision.

Nice, My main is a Paragon Soldier, 100% completed.

2 saves is actually understandable and "normal" for a game like ME2. i mean theres 6 classes, 2 genders, the paragon/renegade style, and not to mention the different endings. if you wanna make the most out of your copy of ME2 is to actually do 2 runs that are day and night.

3 runs though, is pushing it for me tbh.

Um...I usually play games I like more than 2-3 times through.  Has nothing to do with being bored.

ME2 kept me occupied for a WHILE back in 2010.

No and no. It's from playing all of the classes for me!


But I'm likely only gonna start with one or two saves for import into ME3, myself.

I've got like six complete save files (I've had a bunch of incomplete ones of the different classes), atm in ME2, and I'm currently working on two to three more, I'm not gonna mention my number of ME1 saves.

Ive got 4, soldier, engineer, sentinel and vanguard. Have to finish 2 of these for me3 for a total of 8 runs

Usually once or twice doing everything the game has to offer, would have experienced enough. That and there are many other games waiting.

I say both my saves are enough because I make perfect playthroughs on them, choosing the exact choices I want and doing everything I can.

Um...I usually play games I like more than 2-3 times through.  Has nothing to do with being bored. 

I do this too.  I'm sort of picky about the games I play.  i don't like shooters, I want to have the option to play both male and female and I want good stories.  I'm still playing Jade Empire once in awhile and KOTOR as well as Fall Out 3 and NV.  Now I have Skyrim so if I never find a new game, I have plenty that I'm happy to replay..
