Exactly.  I have around 10.  I've never understood someone who just plays once or twice.  

Usually once or twice doing everything the game has to offer, would have experienced enough. That and there are many other games waiting.

I say both my saves are enough because I make perfect playthroughs on them, choosing the exact choices I want and doing everything I can.

  For me, I have one maybe two, perfect playthrough and then I have ones that aren't.  I want to see what happens if someone died, how will it effect ME3.  I admit, I'm a bit obsessive about stuff like that.  I'll ve disapointed if my choices don't make some kind of difference in the game.   I also have the different Shepards with the different LI and some who are single.

Reading your post (as someone with 10 saves), I can now understand better. You practically only play a select handful of games.

Given more choices of games, I feel that doing the same thing more than 3 times in one game, is redundant. Of course, co-op games are an exception.

Understood. For me though, I keep multiple saves. I just reload them to try out different things, and see which one I want most as my final decision.

Each playthrough of both games takes me about 70 to 75 hours >.>

Will have 3, 1 pure paragon, ashley, 1 pretty much neutral, ashley but cheated with miranda, and one still to be done pure renegade...which i shall have trouble with as i cant be a dick even in a game ^^ if i do female ill go with garrus, if male, hm probably liara. Im going to make sure to kill everyone though on my rengade runthrough, except shepard ofcourse. 

Anyone know how many squaddies need to survive for shep not to bite the bullet ?

I had 5, but my Xbox died....so I have been replaying both games and am planning on at least 2 by the time ME3 comes out.

I'm finishing up with #5 in the next couple days. Started #6 but I'm sure I'll want to play the trilogy in order after beating ME3 a few times so I think I'm going to save #6 for a complete sequential playthrough.

I'm very fond of all of my Shepards

Nice Breyant, my head is exploding trying to make sure I got everything down on my playthroughs hopefully it'll turn out milhouse.

I dont. Nah but seriously ME2 and ME1 are really the only games other than a few I can play multiple times and never get tired of.

But all those saves have several different variables between Love interest, class, major (to me) choices, appearances, etc etc.

Plus I play at least a half hour to an hour of ME2 every day or so *shrug* Plus i have at least 4 more playthroughs planned before ME3 drops...so lets cross our fingers I play that near as much as 1 and 2

Okay well yesterday I finished my fourth specific carrer for ME3.

Female, Engineer, Single through both games.
Racist to- Turians, Quarians (so very anti Quarian) and a hint of resentment to asari.
Admires-Krogan (Sees them as wronged by Turians for dropping the Geneophage.) Geth
Council saved, Udina on council.
Collector base saved.

With that playthrough finished it brings my grand total to 42. I may do one more before release...but...not sure...I think 42 is a good number to stop at XD

Really just one. I'll have finished more than once by the time the game comes out (I haven't played and beaten the game since shortly after it was released. I'm only going to import my most recent save though: a paragon vanguard femshep romancing Garrus. It's going to be an exhaustive playthrough; gonna do all the N7 missions (although not necessarily the DLC missions, since I only have the free stuff, what came with the game, and Lair of the Shadow Broker).

Might do another playthrough later, but I don't know what I'd do. I don't like playing male Shepard, and I don't like being a renegade (being such a jerk makes me feel bad sometimes, lulz).
