Am I the only one who can't get through the Love scene in Mass effect 2? I always skip. Always. I just tested my theory again by youtubing Miranda Sex scene and I only got to the 7th second. the whisper "excuse me captain" was enough to set me off.

It's not that I'm a prude or anything. It's just these scenes are tasteless. 

I know whats going to happen at the end, she's going to grind on his pelvic bone in engineering and It's really hard to watch. Do people actually enjoy watching this?

and Jacob's is worse. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse.

No you misunderstand me. I do not want them to be more vulgar. I want them to either do fade to black. (GOD I MISS FADE TO BLACK) or get rid of them entirely.

Plus. I've been on the internet long enough to know where to get my own pornography. Thank you very much.

Not soon enough though. How long is that scene? 2 minutes and 50 seconds. As far as I'm concerned. the whole "WE ARE HAVING SEX" thing could've been done in 3 seconds.

I don't really want to watch fictional characters recreat.. It's embarassing.

Garrus's and Tali's just fade out, you know. Stick with them.

Yeah Garrus and Tali's aren't that bad. Still. Miranda's and Jacobs are awful, just awful.

They all do. None of the love scenes in ME2 actually showed anything other than the preliminaries.

Skip the scene or close your eyes? If you do the romances, cheese kinda comes with the territory.

I agree. The one in ME1 with Ash or Liara was much more tasteful and didn't feel out of place. No doubt someone will misconstrue that as 'omg I want more pr0nz!' but it is what it is. In any case, DA2 did pretty well in this regard.
Even with the tacky 'love' scenes, I felt romances as a whole were off in ME2. You mean, the only way I can continue getting to know someone is to declare that I'm in love with them?

I found mass effect 1 sex scenes better than 2. I mean, they still were kind of cheesy but.. atleast it was short.

Exactly. Bioware went off the deep end with the romances in me2.

I as making 2 separate points, I just failed at wording it correctly.

Again, is it THAT big a deal? A big enough deal to want them gone?

You can-

1. Skip the cutscene
2. Close your eyes.
3. Not romance someone
4. Pursue a romance with a non-tacky romance culmination.

Never could understand this argument.

You can-

1. go out and have a real-life romance.
2. read 1 over again.


Not sure why it HAS to be in the game.
