I am passed the collector ship, and I have been doing a very bad job of romancing Kelly. Just today I decided I want to romance Kelly so I will be talking to her all the time now. But is it too late to romance her now?

Yes, unless you say nice things to her the first time you see her, the romance is cancelled

Hmm I don't think I didn't say nice things the first time... I know there was that conversation where I said if she fell I would embrace her. But I didn't talk to her after the collector ship...
