Having to use skill points for tactic slots. You should move open locks to the tatic slot option.
One thing you do not like about Dragon Age: Origins.

Level scaling. I absolutely LOATHE it, and it destroyed most of my motivation to complete the game a second time.
Everything always feel the same. Just like in a MMO, the enemies are just different models with the same stat, that go up with you.
In the end, you feel no variety and no immersion, the whole world feel like a game and not a "real" world.

Lack of formations.
The intro discussion battle before big boss fights! Leaving my mage or Rogue character out in front with her azz hanging out.

The fact that less than a month after release 90% of the posts in these forums are about whining and what you don't like and other negative crap about how people would have done things if THEY had been in charge instead of useful information about actually playing what may be one of the greatest SP games of all times.
People paid up to $80 for this game, if they feel it is lacking in certain areas who are you to say otherwise? Great your a big fan of the game, dont inhibit the future game experience for others because you are content with exactly how it is now.
Actually I am trying to PROTECT the future game experience by voicing my discontent with those who are discontented - I don't want 90% of the the things people are crying to have fixed immediately and thus I voice my opposition.
In this case I voiced my opposition to yet another "whats wrong with this game" thread becuase its the one thing I am very dissapointed about - who do you think you are to tell me it's not my place to voice that opinion?.
As far as I am concerned there is indeed nothing else wrong with the game other than some unintended bugs which are no doubt on the list to be fixed.

How hard it is to truly be evil, I mean you can be a jerk and all but you can't really be evil. I so wanted my mage to be an abomination =/. Either way it's a good game. Also I was severely disappointed with Dalish elf, just sayin'.

lack of weapon types. Can we get some spears, fist weapons, and battle staffs?

There are a number of things I don't like about DA:O, but if I have to choose one, it would be the ambushes after cut scenes. In a game that's supposed to have tactical combat, robbing the player of the opportunity to position party members and setup for battle is lame.

Not being able to bash locked chests.
Any quests with puzzles. I hate puzzles and just bores me when I have to do that quest in the game.
The game isn't open world like Oblivion and Fallout 3. I've been spoiled by those two games and playing this seems like a step backwards.

I really like this game alot. Maybe it's the lack of party based RPG's out there, but this game brings back fond memories of using teamwork.
If I had to pick one thing it would be the loot you get from a boss.
I spend 10-15 minutes killing a Revenant and all I get is an Elf Root?

It's really hard to find something, but I'll nitpick for the sake of the thread. Zevran not being able to pick locks when you get him. Silly. =)

The fact that locked chests never give you anything better than non-locked chests.

Lame treasure. Like someone said above, fight a boss character and you only get an elf root or something equally as lame? They need to do a better job with random treasure or make it fixed treasure.

The right click target size... to small... you sometimes, quite often in fact have to move the cursor around and around to get the proper prompt. Not in combat, where it is not a problem but in looting.

Hint to modders: TAB is right next to CAPS LOCK... which stays on. Just sayin'

Console version stunted combat. camera, but mostly the inability to que commands(or multiple) without holding down the trigger. If set to toggle you can't que commands for entire party without it unpausing after each one. ie. stop motion combat.
