Mage hoods. They look plain awful, in my opinion...

The ridiculous imbalance between magic and non-magic classes. My first play through was with a warrior, my second with a mage on nightmare. It was sickening how badly balanced and overpowered the magic system in this game is.

Actually I am trying to PROTECT the future game experience by voicing my discontent with those who are discontented - I don't want 90% of the the things people are crying to have fixed immediately and thus I voice my opposition.
And yet it is okay for you to voice your discontent but not for others to do the same? Odd.

Missing MP/coop.
Bit of a strange answer? It's like me saying there weren't any fries with the Big Mac I ordered, when in fact I didn't even order fries in the first place.
Dumb.

One could have not even purchases or played the game, and still considered this something they don't like about the game.

I'll just second what someone on the first page said - LOADING TIMES!
However, loading seems fine when you first boot the PC on, execute the game, and get in. It's the "load from last save" after death that gets me waiting a good frickin' 5-10 minutes (seriously! no joke!), and since i mostly play at night, that usually gets me dozing so i just log off anyway after it comes up, if it's after 1am.
My personal pet peeve is a slight though - no Blood Dragon Armor for other classes. Sure, i can put that hefty plate on a rogue...if i pushed them and disregarded their DEX/CUN focus. But that would solve nothing. Some leather for the rogues, and some cloth for the mage would be awesome, blood dragon armor wise. I'm not sure how they'd accomplish it...except to just maybe auto-set the armor based on the class you've chosen when you create your character
(please, no "mages are overpowered" reponses please. I'm just saying - it's the best looking armor in the game and makes me look like a frakkin CYLON! WOOT!)

the combat after cuts scenes i sometimes find irritating. for instance, you have to go into combat with an NPC, so you leave you archers/mages back for some ranged attacks, you go forward alone, cutscene kicks in & all your party's right next to you gettig tw@ed instead of unleashing ranged fury.
i do find that to be a bag of bollox & turns what should be some good tactical combat into a sodding free for all.
still think it's a great game though.<3

Some of these complaints are viable and good but some of them are just plain stupid... Sometimes you just think that these people don't think or isnt taking everything into account... Like someone who hates the ending because she didn't want to die.... Err it's not the only ending?? And the main pc havingno voice and compared it to ME... Err did you compare the length of the game and the amount of dialogue available? I would understans the balancing issues but this games int about comletition the games is about introducing a newly fleshed out world where mages has some super powers. And that is what was portrayed in the game. Besides i played all of the classes and found nothing wrong with each of them. If you feel they are weak then you are playing them wrong. Don't get me wrong i have somethings i don't like about the game, like the boss loots, and the locked chests with no difference with unlocked ones. But some complaints are not well thought out or is due because of their own faults...

Lack of black/dark armor, I would easily sacrifice the Red Steel sets for something like "Dark Steel" or "Black Steel". Black leather would also be a welcome addition.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the game (and still enjoying it) there are numerous things I "do not like":
1) Unimaginative equipment design - There is zero excitement from getting a new item besides stats since they look plain and dull. This goes for both armor and weapons. Looks ARE everything when it comes to games that involve item "farming".
2) Hitboxes and combat mechanics - It sucks when you have to stop and then attack. So many times when I approach archers they just run away as I'm about to swing and I'm forced to chase. It needs to be much smoother, perhaps even allow characters to attack on the move.
3) Tooltips - Or lack thereof I should say. The tooltips tell you nothing about how effective an ability is. Makes min/maxing fairly difficult, especially for console gamers who cannot use mods to respec.
4) Level ups - Upon leveling up, you are forced to distribute all your points for attributes, talents, and skills. For example, on my Shale I have a level up. The only skills I have left are Disengage and the one after that. I do not have the dexterity for Disengage and thus I cannot complete my level up because I cannot distribute my talent point. To put it plainly, we should be able to save our points for distribute later and the distributions should be separated so we can say for example spend all our skills and talents but save all our attribute points.

The balance in this game is atrocious. It reminds of Diablo 2 1.00 balance. Certain abilities grossly overpowered(corpse explosion, whirlwind, etc) and other abilities are so weak that picking it is throwing skill points away(improved stamina, holy bolt, prayer, raise skeleton, etc).
How can you put in a AoE heavy dmg dealing, long duration stun spell that only affects enemies(Blood Wound) into the game. Seriously...you'd have to be retarded to not realize that this game is COMPLETELY out of line from everything else in the game.
Fireball is another ridiculous spell. So a huge AoE, relatively dmg dealing spell, that knocks everybody down is fair? It's like the shield bash skill from warriors, except much more spammable, ranged, deals more dmg, and can hit like 20 guys at once. WOW! It's clear there was no comparison from one skill to another and rather numbers were just picked randomly to determine balance.
Even comparing non-mage you can see gross imbalance as well. Compare the rogue ranger specialization to anything else rogues have. Hmmmm. Able to summon another party member(the summonables are practically as good as your other party members...the bear has the same hp as Shale), or a small temporary bonus to whatever. HMMMM...

The one thing I absolutely hate the most about this game, even more than Chorezammar, is the way the volume explodes when you're in combat.
Seriously BW, I get what you guys were going for, but there are far better ways to build tension in a battle than making me lunge for my speakers every few minutes.

the crappy armor/weapon designs and the lack of different models for said armors and weapons
Same here, the cartoony weapons got on my nerves, whay cant they just look at a book with real weapons and stuff in it and use thoose for the designs....since they've been battle tested for centuries now.

How my enjoyment of this game ends up being an embarrassment when I come to this forum and see how others who play it act on the Internet.
