It's tempting to say the least. If we lived in the Mass Effect universe, we are more than likely to have different thoughts and opinions on interacting with other species. For a time, dating aliens would be considered a taboo thing. But as time passes, it may become more and more acceptable starting with the asari. Eventually people would begin moving onto other species, but the asari is most likely the human's first choice outside our species.
A thoughtful, srs bsns post for a thoughtful, srs bsns thread.

Asari can't be wives, because they are not really women!

Sorry if I didn't see your small picture.
Yes I despise Asari as a species. But I respect Samara and her code.

Just asking.
Personally I was thinking about it and came to the conclusion that an Asari wife would be ideal, since they're free of typical female ****** Sapiens mentality. No infidelity, no "sponsorship" expectance, no intrigues behind the back, no ****, no nothing. Just a clueless baby-borning machine. Sweet!
And why the hell is their physiology so convenient for human males?
If no children were involved? Probably yeah.
But since I may eventually want children (the human kind) then no.

No matter how awesome your Regina Spektor avatar is you're just wrong. They're women in the anatomical sense, so we refer to them as women. Its no more complicated than that.
