EDI's falling to typical AI bloodthirsting, so she needs to be able to run around and shoot things with Shep before she goes all 'Daisy Bell'.

It just really bugs me, I liked EDI in ME2 but I liked her as the Normandy. I do not want her to be a sexy robot ¬_¬ it is one of the things I have read about ME3 that have me the most worried.

Yeah. :/ Well, they were kept pretty well in character, so in that sense the fidelity was sort of there--but that's not hard when the interactions are so scant.

This is my feeling too, but I'm afraid it's a lost cause. I fear the most we can hope for is that she's the DLC squadmate so we can avoid it, but I doubt it.

Well, that sounds a bit better. Not a lot, but a bit. It's just, the mobile platform... I'm afraid it's going to be pretty much a barbie doll.

It's an unpleasant sort of continuum--the more like a tin can she looks, the greater the insult and potential bodily harm to Joker; the more like #6 she looks, the less I will be able to take her seriously and the more obnoxious/creepy the leering on deck is going to get. *sigh* I hope the artists worked a miracle, but I'm not holding my breath.

So, EDI is a weaker and nicer version of Harbinger...?

She is also kind of a Reaper now... Minus the vanguard of your destruction thing..  Reaper Tech + Ship (allbeit puny in comparison) + Avatar body inhabiting... Uh oh.

There are some details (two in particular) that I hope won't be visible in the game should what we're discussing come to pass. It doesn't look like they will be seen, but when some concept art hits the mainstream I imagine the riots here at the BSN will be terrible to behold.

Edit: That might be a bit overly dramatic, but people around here do have the slightest tendency to overreact.

EDI has a body it's called the Normandy. Putting her in a body so Joker can get some is stupid. I pray BW has not lost all touch with reality. This = worse idea on BSN. And I

i can see edi as a being like this but the skin can be more of a computerized color similar to the costumes in tron like a blue or orange

By the way, is it just an assumption that Joker and EDI are going to have a romance? I mean when someone says they'll build up on the relationship between Joker and EDI, they could just mean their friendship relationship.
