I liked the fact that EDI did NOT look humanoid. It made sense for her to just be a disembodied voice or just the globe.
Besides, she specifically mentions that after Joker plugs her in, she sees the Normandy as her body. I thought that was a nice touch.
That said, given BWs usual view on characters and on how to portray their personalities, etc., I would not at all be surprised if she gets a human shape. It's not a big deal but if that happens, I think EDI will some of her uniqueness as an AI.

That's kind of what I meant. I'm thinking take Tricia Helfer, give her eyes that glow with the same shade of blue EDI currently is, and make her skin silver.

I remember saying in a bunch of threads after I finished ME2 that EDI should get a systhetic mobile platform so Joker and EDI can have proper "organic" love together  so funny that its coming true, good for you fictional cripple Ace pilot.... now If only Japan would get its **** together
