Am I the only one then who wishes her to be both mobile (not tied into the ships) and look similar to Wall-E?
Wall-E? I want her to look like something Japanse men have created for the good of Humanity.

It better look like tricia. I hope they model it after her so tricia can be a robot fully, again. Mmmm six.

Bad idea...
But then again, BioWare is full of them lately.
Nonsense, I share his opinion.Someone With Mass wrote...
That's your and only your opinion.

Yeah, how dare an AI look for a way to increase its efficiency? That's just dumb.

Yes, a SEXBOT of a hipsboard AI surely increaseis it's efficiency.......aha..
It's not like it can already monitor and influence all shipboard activities.....
How do metal ****** increase it's efficiency?
Combat?
Why not take a YMIR mech body then? And why would a SHIPBOARD AI even need to go into ground combat?
I know oyu liek to champion lost causes and defend redicolous positions, but really? Just ....really....

So depressing to read this thread and see all those in favor of what Bioware has done. Seriously, you are the cancer.

I'm going to agree with this one. What was so wrong of the idea that EDI is the Normandy's 'conscience' and just that. Why the need for a humanoid body if the Normandy is the 'body'? It's just like turning an ok idea into a ridiculous idea. And yeah, Andromeda rip off. I never got used to this TV show and I certainly don't need ME turn into it.GodWood wrote...

Implanting EDI into some sexbot was a terrible idea.

You're a smart person. Figure it out yourself. The answer is quite simple. What can an AI which is restricted to the frame of a ship do with a smaller body?
P.S. It's not a sexbot.
Lotion Soronnar wrote...
Nothing.
What else does it need to do?
It can compute whatever it needs from the Normandy.
Ignoring how tired a trope it is, it's not EDI getting a body, it's the likelihood that BioWare will also use that body for cheap fanservice -- there's already the vomit-worthy Jokermance, of which I still hold out the desperate hope is cut. It's funny how it suddenly a bad thing when this particular AI wants to expand her views,
