Pretty much this. Although it is the first we've heard of any hint of when the info is coming. so it's progress. unfortunately it may be progress for the sake of progress.

Why is it that w/ the Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo they announced it and a week later it was on XBL/PSN, but w/ this they have to keep making announcements about announcements and seem to be incapable of providing a simple release date?  It's just a demo!
