Ah yes, but I can still argue the fact that Mass Effect is a cheap imagining of Star Trek, Gears of War, Halo, etc., put together. All pointless arguments that have been made in the past. The point I was making is that Pirates is most definitely a serious franchise and uses similar writing techniques as any other "Adventure Fantasy" whereas you were making it out as Pirates = humoric writing as to Mass Effect = seriousness. I can sit here all day and make references for you; however, I get the sensation that you would be dismissive of such claims.
And if you read closely enough, you would be able to see that I was poking fun at the franchise's use of marriage rather than suggesting it be encrypted into the game itself. Of course the notion of such a thing is ridiculous; therefore, leaving the impression that marriage in this game is an idea I don't particularly care for.

Gears of war had a year and 13 days of life before mass effect hit stores, also all games dosen't matter the type copy or barrow something from others either before or after they were made. All games took something from DND in some way. wither it be the rpg element, the creatures or what ever, it came from dnd in some way. Each game has it's fan boys/girls, I personaly like both gears and mass effect each has something in it that i like.
Mass effect: November 20, 2007 Gears of war: November 7, 2006
As for a wedding for the me LI id like some kind of scene at the end for each pair, dosen't matter who a persons LI is. Weather we get one or not is all up to bioware and knowing them they wont let us down, ME 3 will still be by far of the best games of 2012.
