I was absolutely cold on the idea of a ME wedding when I read the original post (still am). However, after reading some of the nasty replies from some of these smarmy, self impressed dicks, the contrarian in me kind of hopes it happens just to watch heads explode.

anyways, having a wedding isnt so bad in the ME universe. seeing as your going into a battle that will decide the fate of current life in the galaxy, you would want to keep hope for the future up.

Actually, I think a marriage would be better off as a post-credits thing, or as an epilogue. Mainly because, I don't want it to interfere with the gameplay, and there are other, more pressing issues than marriage (Like keeping the Reapers from killing everyone)

i think the actually ceremony would be better after the fight with the reapers. but im pretty sure there will be a well thought out LI scene before the climax of the game, somewhat like the scenes in ME2 but omething that would finalize the relationship with who ever someone's shepard will be with.

ie: proposal, emotional breakdown, romantic call, etc.

And if it sounded like I was arguing against you earlier, I apologize. I'd be all for a marriage (Or a similar, heavily romantic talk/event) to take place, but like I said, after the Reapers are taken down.

Makes sense but not necessary in my opinion. Doesn't really add anything to the story (unless they decide to go for a lame discussion/conversation over marriage and having babies and stuff like that).
