 I'm having a lot of trouble getting through this area thanks to various glitches that keep cropping up preventing my progress...

Currrently I'm waiting for Avernus to start doing his sealing of the veil and he's warned me for demons coming out. I've tried reloading, going through most of the quest again and so on. I've tried leaving Soldiers keep but it won't let me do so. I ALSO run into the excact same issue if I reload and go through the same thing with Sophia.

Normally at this point I'd reload and simple ignore the quest all together, but that will require replaying a good 2 hours of the game since auto saves are less frequent than i expected (skyrim Spoiled me it seems).

Is there any good solution? Or even a bad solution like manually enabling the script via a debug menu, hacking my saves or some nonsense like that? I'm enjoying DA:O quite a bit, but not enough to warrent replaying any of it already.

EDIT: Well, installed the 1.05 patch, which for some reason enables me to leave the keep... I hate leaving loose ends but at least I have an out!

Normally I havent had that problem, but when I played DAO on my new desktop computer, it did the same thing with Avernus as it did with you.

I tried to look for solutions. One solution that I found from the forums, worked. I simply exited the room back to that bridge leading to the tower and then back to Avernus. I did it many times. During this I also changed the resolution several times. Finally he did work as he was supposed to and I changed the resolution back to what I normally use.

I dont know if it works for everyone but it did with me.
