when does Fenris show up at my house about the dog?

Just keep going in and out of your home, you will get visits from Aveline (2), Varric, Fenris, Sebastian in Act 2/3. In Act 1, you get interactions with Dog and Mom, Bethany, Carver, Merrill, Anders and Gamlen.
 
If Merrill is romanced there is a funny scene with her and Dog and Hawke as well, where she speaks about the sleeping arrangements. (In Act 2 or 3 I forget).  I am uncertain if Anders has a corresponding scene in Act 2/3 since I have never romanced him.

In addition are just some cute scenes of Hawke with his/her pet, and one funny quest in Act 3 with Dog, in the home.

I love Fenris too.  Some seriously sexy eyes on that character!

^Lol yes fenris is yumm and so is Alistair, I as female player do not find him as eye candy as Alistair/Anders or even Zev ( origens mind you), but he has this voice.. it totally kills me not romancing him.


I wish elves were more attractive in da2 sadly they are not.

Damn. I've used mods on him so I had forgotten what he actually looked like. Not bad.... But I like my blue eyed and glowing blue lyrium tattoo'd version too much to go back...

I use a mod too "Fenris of Seheron" that changes the look of his tattoos and the way they glow. Apparently an eye texture mod I have changes his eyes from pale green to darker green (his eyes look different in the photo above, but as I've had that mod a long time I had forgotten what his original eye color was). I have used several mods to alter his appearance, usually just hair color or costuming. This is my latest one.

Well... completely unmodded is probably not true. I believe I have some general mod that changes the eye texture somewhat, but the color should have remained the same. 






As you can see, his skin color and texture differs from Huntress' screenshot as well.

Ugh ... to be honest, I hate his skin texture. It's rough and wrinkly and appears to have a five o'clock shadow sometimes ... in essence, it's the least elfy skin in the world lol It bothers me.

I wonder if there is some way for a moderator to move this thread to the Fenris thread? This is just going to attract Fenris haters. (And understandably annoy some people since the OP started multiple Fenris threads.)

I like LapisLazuli's mod (Picture upthread) that alters his tattoos and smooths out his facial texture.  It does look strange to me in vanilla.

Totally agree; he looks really nice there <3 I can only assume his wrinkly/weird appearance in the game is due to time constraints.  But it's hard to complain too much because I pretty much love every other single aspect of him

It's funny how differently people see things. Personally I love Fenris's skin texture, it's my favourite in the game.

I think because I draw a little, I sometimes open up the DDS files just to have a look at the skins as images and without exception I'm always completely blown away with how beautifully drawn the pictures are. I think when the model is complete in the game you can lose the sense of how delicate and detailed the pictures that make up a games world are.

Whatever my personal criticisms of the game are I have nothing but respect for the work of the artists that create the images we see. The skins are absolutely beautiful.
