Anybody seen the clip with her and Sebestian in the Mark of the Assassin DLC? I played it with Isabela and Anders, but I looked up all the different variations and one of them had the two kind of flirting?
I don't get it. I didn't think he liked mages, or he is just slightly racist towards them?
So Sebastian and Bethany..

I took Sebastian with me on my run I romanced him. In the scene where they are running to rescue Hawke, she is talking about how to find her sister and looks over at him. He smiles sweetly to her and then takes off again. Bethany's reaction "Sister, you lucky b*tch!"
Bethany is just a sweet girl. Sebastian's issue with mages has more to do with their violent behavior (or the use of blood magic) than the Chantry. He can and will join Hawke defending the mages at the end (if Hawke chooses) and makes a point of saying (paraphrased) "these mages aren't Anders. They don't deserve this."
When you get to the scene in Act 3 where it all goes to the 'fan'. He points out that the RoA is stupid since the man responsible for the action that it's called for is standing right in front of them.

There's a scene in Legacy too if you are in a romance with Sebastian. Bethany will inquire about Sebastian being a prince or something like that and at the end Hawke will tell Bethany to back off.
In my play through she's a Warden so I like to think she'd wind up with Alistair.

I completley forgot about that, yes, you're right, he does defend the mages. Interesting-I do like him as a character anyway.

Not in my games he doesn't
. I like Bella, and tried to get that ending, but it bugged out on me. Kaitlyn is a whiny slug I can't stand. I much prefer her brother's card where he becomes an adventurer with his family sword, going around the country and telling tales of the Warden.Oh and technically they can meet in Chateau Haine during Duke Prosper's party....but no Teagan for Bethany. He's mine

Roughly the same thing happens with an unromanced Sebastian, except Bethany whispers "Oh Maker!" in a hushed voice.

Yessss. Bann Teagan for the win. <3 How I wish I could have flirted with him in MotA the same way I did in DAO. I like to pretend that I couldn't because he is still carrying a torch for my Warden.

I think the pairing is quite sweet, actually. If the reason Bethany "splits" from Hawke at the end of DA2 was to go to Starkhaven with Sebastian, I could accept that.

You're more likely to see dogs jump out of my butt and bark the chorus to "Poker Face" than see Bethany or Carver as romance options in DA3. It's far too easy for both of them to be dead.
If there's some offhand mention of Bethany shacking up with Sebastian in DA3, I'm all for it. Give her some chance at happiness.

Agreed. If you see Bethany or Carver, it will be very brief. They will NOT be companions.
First, only one of them even CAN be alive. Second, there's a good chance the OTHER will be dead, too.
They're not going to record an entire game's worth of dialogue and options of two character when there's a fair chance that neither will even be in the game, and guaranteed that at least one of them won't be. That would be a massive waste of resources, especially for characters that belong to the previous hero.
