I'm trying to get my toolset to work, but keep having the 'unable to connect to database' error. Now there are many posts around the net (and these forums) referring to the official toolset wiki for solutions for this issue (http://social.biowar.../wiki/datoolset). However, this page seems broken for me, when I log in to it with my bioware name and password, it returns a blank page.

Is this something others are have encountered or just my exceptionally bad luck? Or is the wiki maybe down for maintanance? And can anyone who's faced the database problem with the toolset and has solved it using that wiki page maybe tell me what the wiki page says?

Just log out of the social site, close your browser, re-open your browser, and then re-log in and try again. That is what worked for me, in any case, your mileage may vary :)

Thanks for the tip. I will give it a shot.

EDIT: Brilliant, I've not yet solved my database issues but at least now have the page to help me. Thank you :)

I've narrowed down the problem to this: my Dragon Age\\toolssql\\data folder is empty.

The wiki tells me to do the following:

You can enter the following command to try restoring the database manually (Change the paths to bw_dragonage_content.bak and your Dragon Age folder as appropriate): "C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft SQL Server\\90\\Tools\\Binn\\"sqlcmd -S .\\BWDATOOLSET -E -Q "RESTORE DATABASE bw_dragonage_content FROM DISK = 'C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\dbbak\\bw_dragonage_content.bak' WITH MOVE 'bw_dragonage_content' TO 'C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\toolssql\\Data\\bw_dragonage_content.mdf', MOVE 'bw_dragonage_content_Log' TO 'C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\toolssql\\Data\\bw_dragonage_content.ldf'"

Now my question is, where do I enter this line? I tried entering it in Start > Run, but its too long.

You're very welcome -- I had no wiki for close to 4 days before some kind soul helped me the same way! :)

I had the same issue ... want a faster, cleaner solution? Uninstall the Toolset, and when it gives you the options, uninstall the Toolset, and SQL and the Database. Then reinstall. That's how i got things to work.

Good luck!
