I highly doubt it's on the 14th because it has unlockables on the demo for kingdoms of amular which comes out feb 4th. So I doubt they'd have unlockables for a game that's already out. No point of that. It'll probably be on the 23rd. That's when I can put up my awesome Shepard display stand thing at work so I'm betting that's demo day.

There's also a chance that is the public demo date and the early MP access is a week or 2 before that. I don't think we've gotten all the demo news just yet, only that little oops from Gametrailers.

This. It's not like  KoA is going to stop selling new copies before 2/14.

However a fair point was made that those items may be outleveled by that point.

By "outleveled" do you mean irrelevant on players' files due to the obtaining of stronger equipment? Eh, hell, unless KoA proves to be more "Kingdoms of Amalur Souls" and less "Kingdoms of Amalur Scrolls", I'd welcome the challenge and almost scorn the greater ease ME3's items would bring. I really do feel as though most games are far too easy, thanks in no small part to a ton of marketing-based exploits this past gen.

So I bought battlefield because bioware said we'd be getting early access to a demo in January, yet it's February and only 3 weeks away from release. How is this early again? What a joke. Starting to show that your word means nothing bioware. Losing class...

I'd say some are over the top, but after all that "soon", "sooner than you think", being almost A MONTH away, mid FEBRUARY is pretty ridiculous since they announced a while ago that the demo would be released on JANUARY. I mean, they could've handle this a lot better.
I'm a little pissed off myself (assuming it's already true by screen cap on the video). It's deffinitely not sooner than I thought. No way. Like others, I expected it to be before KoA release.

Edit: short message is: don't tease your fanbase if you're gonna disappoint them.

No matter what I'm looking forward to the demo and MP. Anyone who is interested in the MP portion should check out and consider joining the group in my signature, just give it a click! Just trying to have a group of people wanting to have fun. While we've been understandably quiet we're very friendly. This is just a for fun group so even if MP isn't your thing normally but want to give it a try in a fun, no pressure environment without worrying about l33t skillz then join in. This is for all platforms, PC, XBOX and PS3.

Also if you are already in the group, make sure you've posted  your Origin ID/Gamertag/PSN ID!

I don't get why they couldn't just tell us when the demo was coming out earlier instead of just  chanting "soon". People would be able to get more hype built up for it then. The secrecy makes no sense to me and quite frankly it's just annoying, doesn't seem like a good technique in my opinion.

Yeah, for the people who buy the game when it comes out. That's still only the first two weeks of the game launch though. Plenty of people can have those unlockables for a first run.

The
Demo also looks like there will be replay value for anyone who enjoys
the game. So even if you've outleveled with your first character, you
can grab those unlockables for a second time around. It's not much
different then weapon DLC's that other games do all the time.
