It kinda looks better with kinect though. I didn't know how good it was going to be, but it looks promising.


Though I honestly think it's faster to pause and switch to shotgun then to yell "SHOTGUN" and wait.

Screw this demo, what's the point of playing it that late? 3 weeks before the release? Seriously? Why even ****ing bother?

I know eh? Like I was expecting it maybe a week ago like they originally stated.. I mean come Feb 14th.. I'm might just say **** it and wait 3 weeks for the full game.

I'm getting ME3 for 360 and I have Kinect so I'm actually pretty excited to try the Kinect with it even though it ME3 seems like a weird game to have Kinect for.. and it's not a "giant print" its a small purple bar under "Xbox 360 - Live"

True True i did exaggrate a bit but its still annoying

When I pick up my copy of Mass Effect 3 i am bringing a  black sharpie with me so I can immediately cross out anything about kinect and pretend it never existed.

Yea that I can agree with.. Microsoft also exaggerates greatly with how good Kinect is. I have it but I actually don't use it all the much.. It may be a cool feature but I still wouldn't say ME3 is "Better with Kinect" nothings "Better with Kinect" it just adds a little something... the world of video games would be fine without Kinect... Like I said I'm still excited to try out the features but Kinect still seems better for games like Dance Central and stuff.. for when you have company over and wanna have fun. Not everybody is good at video games... but everyone can use Kinect so it works out.

Three weeks before launch? I'm pretty sure if this is correct I'm not even going to bother. I'm not buying KoA so I don't care about the demo item and that means 3 more weeks without spyware on my system.

Same... I don't see the point of releasing it that late.. I mean.. 2 months to the games release I think it's safe to say the demo's done.. so why not just release it! If the demo isn't even finished yet I think ME3 needs to be delayed again. lol.

While this announcement is kind of a downer I can't lie -- when the demo comes out I plan on playing it. I know it's easy to say you can just wait 3 more weeks (which I understand those that decide that route) but seeing as I have kinect, if nothing else I'll try it out.

EA/Bioware really dropped the ball on this one, I gave them slack with not giving out info after the leak, but don't talk about a demo coming out in January that doesn't come out in January. They would had simply been better saying a demo would come out a few weeks before the game.

Gives more room for leeway, oh well it is what it is.

I really wish they would be more forward with information like this, especially seeing how F5 crazy the forums get when it comes to news about the demo.

I agree with this. Just be open with your customers and fans and they will reward that honesty with buyin your product. Also follow it up with good customer service after the sale.

Anyway, about the knetic itself. I don't think it will work in combat. I mean, the part in the beginning where the guy says "concussive shot", it takes seconds untill Shepard uses the power... I don't know how something like that can be useful.
