You're welcome XDRonin. May I suggest that you become a member of the press so you get invited to press events liek the one shown? Then you'll have one less reason to complain.

Can I just ask how someone got to be a member of the gaming press without having played both ME & ME2?  I know tastes in genre differ wildly, but Mass Effect was one of the landmark games of this console generation and I find it laughable that a member of the gaming press hasn't played it. I'm not saying they had to like it, but certainly every gaming journalist worth their salt has experienced Mass Effect.

Edit: Unless you work for Nintendo Power. I suppose you wouldn't have been invited in the first place if that were true.

I say we just count ourselves lucky that we're getting a demo. Not every game has them, and in ME's past they're not released until the game has been out for a while. I think it's nice that there is one at all, just to wet our appetites for 3 weeks. I would never deny people the "right" to complain but at least be grateful that you even have a demo to complain about.

I agree. I thanks bioware for demo of mass effect 3, for me is more exciting! I add BioWare has made us more of a gift giving us a demo of Mass Effect 3. And It 'is not even a little thank you again BioWare proves that this leaves us to try.
In fact one of my co-worker told me that the demos in recent years there are very few, then again I did not understand what you have against origin .. you can still play.

indeed it is I who should I complain to the full game when it comes out I'm afraid that will change the characters' voices, fortunately I know already that the actor who plays in the first sheaprd ME will return in 3 if I remember correctly.

Though as all of are irritated that the demo which was supposed to come out in January has now been moved to febuary my eagerness for this demo will be quenched soon enough.

Mass Effect has come a long way, being a small unnoticed 3rd person rpg at the start of it's journey and now it's become the most anticipated games of 2012. Mass Effect will never die as shall it's fans.

Why? U can or not play the multiplayer, if you like to play singleplayer whhy you must play multiplayer? Better if  is most anticipated, the bioware make the game more beatiful.

@ Burneye Is God, I do have a Kinect and in my experience the games that are made for the Kinect are very good. However games that have Kinect support like Forza 4, are fun and neat but I only used it once. ME3 looks great on the video with the Kinect and I'll try it out, but for myself I know I will not be using it regularly. That's just me though. In short get it if you plan to get Kinect games eventually, but if just for ME3 my oppinion is to hold off. Again though that's just me.

I'm assuming the Origin requirement for the demo is due to the inclusion of a multiplayer portion.

Thank you Bioware but, this does actually kind of tick me-off; specially after watching that kinect video where this guy says "I never played the first two Mass Effects... To be fair to Chris, he replied to XDRonin's original comment with a vaild recomendation. And it was totally valid as it is normal practice for members of various press to get pre-release (demo's included) sittings of new games/demos before the general public. It's just the way it works.

This'll probably be lost, but I'm hoping: Do you know if the PC version of Mass Effect 3's demo, or the full game, will support the recently mentioned Kinect for windows?

The thread is too long and I didn't read all of the posts. Please forgive me if below questions are already answered:

1. Do I need to sit far away from Kinect, like playing other Kinect games? ME3 seems not using the motion control feature. So I guess I don't need to?

2. Any motion control is used in ME3?

3. Can I use headset to "input" the voice command? I understand Kinect is still required for the speech recognition work. I just don't want to shout through the sitting room all the time.......

4. All conversation dialogues can be chosen by just saying it? Not saying "dialogue 1", "
dialogue  2", but really saying the content of the dialogue? If yes, that's in fact quite impressive. Many words need to be recognized.

So about getting the demo. I got BF3 on PS3 and have the mass effect series on xbox. With BF3 online pass linked to my origin account that connects to my PSN and XBL gamertags, is it possible to play the demo early just on the xbox? Or am i just stuck playing the demo on PS3? which in my opinion would suck.

Don't worry about this. I'm 90% sure that you won't have any problems because the clue here is the BF3 online pass.

I've got Dead Space 2 in PS3 and Dragon Age 2 on 360, and promotion items were compatible between them.

P.D.: For me, Valentine's day will be great. My BF3 was a gift from my boyfriend to play with him, so this14th we will play co-op together

As long as it's online co-op...Image IPB

:blink::blink::blink:

Well, then I had a perfect excuse to play together at the same console... but knowing my boyfriend I think that he will prefer playing "other" kind of games

I meant that there is no offline co-op mode as of yet...Image IPB

ok thanks! i have DS2 on PS3 and DA2 on xbox as well. checked and it worked. im confident now on Feb. 14th. thanks again!!!Image IPB
