I'm disappointed that it took so long for BioWare to give actual date for the damo not to mention that it was said that demo will land in January. Nevertheless it is still a nice fact that there is any info and that we know finally when the War will start.

p.s. At least I expect an official excuse for the fact that demo will be shifted for half a month.

Can you play Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer with bots?

No. Multiplayer is played online with other Mass Effect 3 players.


Will any data from Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer carry over into the real game? Like the Galactic Readiness level or similar?

No, no data from the Multiplay or Sinle Player demo carries into the real game.


Can I choose squadmates in the Single Player or Multiplayer demo?

In
the Single Player demo you are on 2 preset missions, so you do not select your party members (this will be more clear when you play the demo). In Multiplayer, you do not play with party NPCs, you play with other real players.


Can you play as different races in the Multiplayer demo? Which ones?

Yes, there are different races that you can play as in the multiplayer demo. We will be revealing more on these races soon.


Can you play the Multiplayer demo solo?

You can try, but it will be difficult as Multiplayer is designed for more than one person to play.

I ask at what point you came of your work to finish the full game? I dunno what game I play in waiting for demo. ME2 I have finished almost thirty times.. I remember all speeches of me2, I can not play it again, and now I sleep on my table of pc.

No one ever said that.  They stated that there would be a demo announcement in January.  Even the slip that came with BF3 states as much.

And surprise surprise, they announced it in January.

Though, I'm 96% sure it will be possible to play the demo on Windows 8 beta, but just to clarify things out, will it be? I'm looking forward to try it too and so as both demos comming out at the same time + - 2 days does ME3 demo work on W8?

I feel the same way.  told we would have the demo in January though back in November I believe, or earlier.  figures it would be pushed back so much.  and also BioWare this early access is ONLY for the multiplayer and ONLY for 3 days?!?!?!?!  I don't know about you but we have heard that there will definitely be a ME3 game about a year ago, so over 300 days ago.  you are telling us that 0.1% of that makes it "early"?  those of us getting early access better actually be able to get it January 31 at the latest and you put it the way you did just to throw people off

here is something else, the game comes out on 3-6-12, the demo comes out 2-14-12. so not even a month of getting to play the demo. yeah that way sounds okay, but that means we had to wait so long for something other than images and trailers. to me it just bites we had to wait so long before being told when the demo would finally be out. and to top it off the early access is pathetically short

I agree for early access, many people buy bf3 for early access for the demo me3, and at the end only 3 day? I feel a bit 'insane in my opinion

To download it on the 14th you need a gold membership, otherwise you won't get it for another week. Even then the multiplayer looks to be online only so again you will need gold to try it out.

It seems all of you are forgetting that this is a free public demo. For God's sake, ease up. I've never in my life seen so many people complaining about something they're getting free of charge.

Ah, glad to have an answer about this one. A little dissapointing, I was kind of hoping to be ready to import a bunch of multiplayer characters on day one to the main game and boost up my galactic readiness level, but I'll live.

I'll definitely play the multiplayer a bit more casually and find out my rhythm for each species/class.

Just as another question: Is the level cap for multiplayer the same as single player?
