This is probably one of the biggest demos ever. I can forgive a lot for it. (nevermind the leaked beta, I've seen parts of the opening level that weren't in that, that will probably be in the demo.) Not to mention, we'll have two weeks of multiplayer to run around in. What little disappointment I had is gone.

Show a little love, guys. :P

People, people. Have you ever heard of a delay? They happen all the time. Hell, ME3-- as in the full retail release-- was delayed, remember?

It seems all of you are forgetting that this is a free public demo. For God's sake, ease up. I've never in my life seen so many people complaining about something they're getting free of charge.

No. I don't remember. I don't recall ever seeing a delay. The only firm date I've ever seen was 3-6-12. I never put stock into soft dates like "winter", "holiday", "December", "Q4", and the like.

I'm not complaining about anything other than the fact that there is a cross-game promotion with Kingdoms of Amalur and that the item we unlock in the Mass Effect 3 demo for use in KoA will not be able to be unlocked until a week after KoA releases. By then the item will be useless. I'm complaining about poor planning as it pertains to the cross-game promotion on the part of BioWare. If it were not for the cross-game promotion I wouldn't be interested in the ME3 demo (unless it had unlocks similar to Dragon Age II). I've made my pre-order, paid my money, played and beat both ME and ME2, and purchesed all DLC for both. I'm invested. I don't need a demo to prove anything to me or convince me to purchase anything. Especially since all the progress made in the demo will not transfer to the full release.

At least this demo will give everyone a chance to try Origin before game launch. I haven't used it yet, but I have heard a lot of bad things about it.

Origin is no different then Steam or any other game manager! People are just paranoid and afraid of change.

The problem I have with it is that all of my games are on Steam, so it is inconvenient for me to have my games on multiple game managers.

Can you start love intrest stories with other characters during co-op multiplayer? I wanna see some Krogan and Asari action.

ugh so we need battlefield 3 to get me3 demo? lame
if the dlc's are related to amalur, then you should have to own amalur, not battlefield!

I think you'll have to go to deviant art for that since co-op is just combat :wizard:

So people who play ME3 Demo get unlocks for ME3? Does it seem strange to reward someone who played the Demo and not people who waited? Maybe it's already been answered here, maybe the rewards are purely for MP which is fine. Still, as i read it, i get content held back for waiting for a fresh experience.

I don't know how you came to that conclusion.

If you have BF3 you can play multiplayer AND single player on 2/14

If you don't have BF3 you play single player on 2/14 and can play multiplayer on 2/17, OR on Feb 7th you can participate in whatever program gives you early MP access without BF3.

This is hardly the first demo to give incentive to play it. You could always find out the name of the two missions then play the demo once those are over, so you get a "fresh experience" AND the items.

I fail to see, however, how 2 singleplayer missions in a game of this size will ruin the experience.

First, the January Release Date was retracted about Mid December, so those complaining about any delays about that were not keeping up.  ME 3 General Discussion has a similar topic (actually, several pop up from time to time) and in such a one the withdrawal was made official.  No, I AM NOT GOING TO SEARCH.  Want proof? Do it yourself.  The info release date was never withdrawn, and upon the 18th, Chris did indeed release some more info.

Also on the 7th of Feb, -->More<-- info on Multiplayer Early Access will be released, or so I understand Chris.  Bioware DID, in fact, promise that we could get early access to the MP Demo without purchasing BF3.

does any one know if on the final version of the game will the multi player be on-line only or can it also be off-line?

The KOA Demo gives unlocks for ME3 and KOA, the first post about the demo hints that their might be ME3 unlocks in the ME3 demo too. Won't know until Feb 7th or if anything gets leaked.

As I recall multiplayer is online only.

Chris said you can play single player multiplayer... and likely get crushed. But, offline co-op? A nooo.

I agree, (I hate steam) because if I play Mass effect 3 and Im' listening what peasant salarian what say it, and my friend write to me, too breaking balls, especially if I'm listening to a wild thing that interests me. For me is better Origin for play in "privacy" at this type of games (my opinion).

I again don't understand why who have early access have only 3 days before of others, I do not want to be paranoid, but I've spent my money and now there is only 3 days of detachment it seems a bit unfair thing..

Edit: I expect from release ME3 full game are: absolutely no bugs( no wall bugged, no boxing bugged ecc.) antialiasing and good gameplay.

I before have open a link of bioware and there was the spoiler of single-player, I say after holy-****, was spoiler.
if u want spoiler click  the link.

hi guys a question...

these are the minimum spec for ME2, 2 eh!!

Supported chipsets: NVIDIA 7900 or better; ATI X1800 or better. Please note that NVIDIA GeForce 9300, 8500, 8400, and 8300 are below minimum system requirements, as are AMD/ATI Radeon HD3200, HD3300, and HD4350.

I've a Radeon HD 3600 and the game runs very fine, but why Radeon HD4300 is below minimum system requirements? I don't understand, it's a graphic card higher than mine....thanks.

They did the same thing in DA2 where playing the demo unlocked promo items in the full game.

Higher generation number doesn't mean better performance. Older gen top dog will be faster than two to three (or even more) generations newer 50€ piece of ****.

i don't know about changing gender on an import, as that would be odd for romance triangles. but just like in ME2 you can change face and class of your save.
