You will when the demo drops. Microsoft is making gold free with the demo. Not too sure about the ins and outs.

Wow... just wow. Seriously? How is online a priority over split-screen? Does EA not think people have actual friends anymore? Way to make half of the game utterly useless to me.

Still exists. BF3 players can play online from the moment it drops, everyone else has to wait three days.

So I got my friend's copy of BF3 and since he had activated his own online code, I had to buy an online code from the xbl maketplace in order to play the BF3 multiplayer section. Does this online pass which I bought grant me early access to the demo as well? Isn't it the same thing as the code that came with the game itself? All it did was allow one to play BF3's multiplayer, I'd assume the side bonus would be the early access to the me3 MP demo.

=( my graphics card is a Gforce 8500 GT and now I've had the unpleasant surprise when I checked ME3's system requirements on the Mass Effect wikia, that my graphics card is below the min system's requirements.

T_T why is that? does that means I wont be able to play ME3? cuz I'm in no condition to buy a new one for a LONG LONG TIME (at least 6 to 10 months)

I was under the impresion that the devs said that if your PC could run ME2, then it would at least run ME3 even on min.

so, what's up with that? =(

yes I did, ME1 and ME2, with almost everything at max, and it ran smooth.

So now out of nowhere, Mass Effect Wikia as well as this very announcement say

"Please note that NVIDIA GeForce 9300, 8500, 8400, and 8300 are below minimum system requirements"

if ME2 ran perfectly fine on my Gforce 8500 GT, why would ME3 have that card as "below minimum system requirements"? doesn't make sense. I really though that anything capable of running ME2 could run the third part.

Well there is one option to check this out. When the demo came out try it and if you can run it on full there is no worry, for the rest of the game trust me:)

The 8000 series is very old. You can't expect games being released now to run properly using cards that old.

But I'm not sure what system requirements you're looking at. According to this link, an Nvidia 7900 would run the game.

yes as long as its a new copy of BF3 you will get the onlijne pass then redem that for demo early acess. but you might want to think is 3 days of mop acess worth £40 or the equillanent currency if that's all your buying BF3 for
