Yes. There's some sort of EA event happening right now; the announcement will probably come afterward.

Bioware is supposed to shed light on other means of playing the ME3 multiplayer demo early on the 14th for those who don't own BF3.

It says in the OP that they'll release info on different ways to get early MP access on 2/7 (today)

So yeah. Where dat info at?

Oh I'm not upset.  I'm just getting a little tired of this sort of thing.  The article said you can unlock weapons for use in ME3.  If those are only for multiplayer then it won't bother me.  I don't plan to play it anyway.  But if it's for single player..... as someone who has been wanting to get all the single player dlc this time around...  it's frustrating. 

I agree with you on the DA2 end of it.  But ME and DA are very different in equipment upgrades and their purposes.  In ME2 you could have gone the entire game in your starter gear if you wanted, getting only upgrades through research.  In DA2 you needed better equipment.  So in ME you could use anything you wanted, whenever you wanted, DLC or starter and it is pretty much just what you wanted to go with.  So I'd say it was more flexible in that sense.  Thus having more options is always good.
